SSI Debt collector.

The name alone is suspicious.

I have received a few calls from:
253-649-7058. They leave voice mail, but says nothing. I called back it sounds like a telemarketing sounding room when the phone connects before a few clicks and then they answered my call by name.  
RUDE, I hung up. Not trying to buy Comcast, windshield, portraits or anything else.

Its called SSI survey center. If you use HOTWIR or any online booking sites, they sell your phone number to telemarketers and this is why the increase in calls from them. Just hang up. They will ask for personal information and it pertains to how you buy things and where you shop. DO NOT talk to them. Block the number.

This has got to be a phoney number for a call center.  The area code and prefix is for a rural area near Tacoma Washington and there is not much commercial activity in the area especially call centers with people with foreign accents. My phone company will not allow blocking of this number because it is bogus.

Agree and thank you.  I happen to live in area code 253 so this # was suspect from the beginning.  Especially at 7:15 at night would not be a legitimate business at that hour.

Frequent calls

Calls 4-6 times a night between the hours of 5pm and 9pm.  Messages are sometimes left on voice mail of a somewhat noisy background before hanging up or a woman with slight accent saying "Hello" before hanging up.  SSI shows up on the Caller ID.  Don't pick up.

Upon answering the phone call, no one said anything.  It was like a dead call.

Got a call from this number on a Saturday afternoon with no message left.  Said SSI and I know for a fact they would not
call especially on a Saturday morning.

The called me exactly one year ago.  They call and do not leave a message.  Caller ID shows SSI and gives the phoney local phone number.  Do not pick up on these scum bags.

Just got a call from them around 8:00 PM let the answering machine pick it and no one said anything. Seeing as it said SSI I knew it must be a scam but I called back cuz you know curiosity.. And I got a recording saying they where SSI and that they wanted to do a survey and that they where not selling anything, I think I was gonna say more but I hung up and laughed. Yeah scam thingy is a scam..

Called on Sunday evening, didn't pick up . Call Monday, , he said Jeff from international department of something , scam , using same phone number just changing names

Yep, these scammers just tried calling us, on Sunday, when everyone knows social security is closed.

These people enjoy harassing people in their homes, in the evening, after we've had a full day at work. Last thing I want to deal with is some low-life degenerate poser that enjoys farm animals in ways we don't want to know about. Their mothers must be so proud, and ponder their decision not to flush them at birth.

Lady with an accent asked for a household member by Last name, First name. Weird... This cell number isn't connected to any accounts even though she said she was Comcast and had some questions to ask that would improve service and help other people. Repeated several times that we don't participate in surveys before she said goodbye.

Definite scam / phishing. Beware.

Didn't leave a message.   SSI-  8:05 a.m.  on a Sunday..........Weird.

Got a call Saturday 9am. After reading this I will ignore.

These people call several times a day, all day and in the evenings and on weekends.  We've missed most of the calls because we've been away when they call and our house sitter won't answer them either.  They finally called last night when I was home and I just picked up the phone and didn't say anything.  They listened for a bit and finally hung up.  I knew they were scammers from reading this forum, so I will now block the number.  Jerks.
