I was called and told I was eligible for free grant money ($7849.00) from a US grant that you didn't need to pay back, They needed  $200.00 from me before they could send the money gram.

i received a call from215-415-1423. After I told them I wanted the $7k for a vacation he asked me to call 253-655-4348 and they would set up the transfer. I never called. Same deal as Sue above.  Free grant money. No taxes. I could barley understand him.

i also received a call from 1-215-415-1423 and told I was selected for a free govt grant that I did not have to pay back

and that I needed to call 1-253-655-4348

this is really suspect - I too could barely understand the woman that initially called me and I could here all the people in the room with here calling and talking to other people

I was called by an unavailable number telling me I qualified for a grant. When I asked questions the person became upset with me and refused to answer. He just kept telling me i had to call 253-655-4348 to activate my money. He also told me he was from the government and the could send me cash but not a check. when I got off the call i got on line to do some research and not even a minute later the guy called me back upset that I hadn't called the other number yet. when I told him I was doing my research first he told me to do my research later and that he would just keep calling me until I called the other number.

I had the same exact call and was researching as the guy was talking. Gave me the same number to call. I have not called yet, I love giving these guys a hard time.

I also got a call from a private #.  Marshal, a verification officer from the US government he states.  The man gave me a confirmation # to pick up the money at walmart of all places, amazing it is the same amount as others,$7849.00.  I first had to call this other # the one above, and a Carla Jones put me on hold a couple of times.  I finally hung up .  Then the # dialed me back.. Both of these people had accents so strong I could hardly understand them.. Carla not as strong as Marshal.

Happened to me too

okay so I got the same type of call. It was a lady first and was very persistent to get my acct number so they can transfer the money. When i said i cant even understand you and how would i know its legit. The govt will not give out money just like that. So she transferrd me to her supervisor and wow... He said the exact words that the lady said. SCRIPTED!!!! I wont even bother to call this Carla Jones. Sheesh!!!

yes this just happened to me right now. the guy had a heavy accent and when i asked what his name was he couldnt even say robert anderson right. hahaha. then i ask a question where does the grains come from? i guess he was saying grant? idk but it was funny cuz he was getting really irritated. he finally said just call carla jones then he hung up real fast.  so i called her and she never answered. then while i'm on the phone with my bank she calls and gets irritated she was calling it grains too. hahaha i told her inever heard of it. she was a little upset. hahaha the laugh of the day for me. i reported both numbers to my bank and reported it to something else on the computer.lol

This number was calling me for weeks till I finally answered today.
The women on the phone I could hardly understand tells me I can reserve 7k in my account, of course sounded so awesome to hear, I heard her giggling with someone, if I asked her to repeat herself she would say never mind.
I called the number she gave me, the guy was also horrible and wouldn't repeat anything back to me, but knew everything I told the women before him? That's when it got a little fishy, also told me I'd have to get a money order of 220$ before receiving the money. I talk to my parents about the hole conversation, and look they're all scams.

Just got off the phone with these people told them i was calling the cops the lady hung up.. Scammmmm! Wanted 290$ to send me 8000. Lol

This # was given to me 253-655-4348 for a government grant of 7,849.00  they told me to call and they would send the money! What a scam! So I called and they asked me to call back! Couldn't understand most of what they said! James Thompson and Micheal smith!

It's a scam.they wanted 300.00 I said I only had 270.00 they ok.and send we tern union it's bs.

They called me about a grant that I don't have to pay back. They already had my account number and routing number to get $350.00 out my account but I didn't call back after I told her I will call her back with the money. Because I didn't have it in my account.

Along with all the others I just received a call from the same number listed in above comments....2536554348. I was offered a 7k government  grant by a women who barely spoke english, I only had to pay 300 dollars to process my grant. When I told them I wouldn't be sending money she got upset telling me it was only 300 & I would be getting it back plus the 7k.  They never gave a company name or location of where they were calling from. Needless to say I didn't agree. Unknown or private numbers are now blocked from my phone.

I too received a call from a John Parker stating he worked for the US Federal Government Grant Department and I was the recipient of a $15,000 grant.  He then asked how would I like to receive this money 1) placed on my credit/debit card, 2) send to Walmart; or 3) direct deposit in my bank account.  I asked if I had to pay any money to get this money and he said no and to call 253-655-4348 and ask for June Ray.  Well, 2 hours later I called and confirmed I had to pay no money. The lady stated there was a $300 fee.  As she was doing this I was looking up her phone number on the computer and this page popped up. I informed her of this and she got quite nasty and told me I didn't have to tell her it was a scam and to hang up as she said I called her.  I told her this was the number given to me and once again she got very nasty.  I hope this get's investigated by the Federal Government as their name is being used in this scam.
