Another scam IRS lawsuit threat.

Scam IRS call about a lawsuit being filed against me.

Must be a scam.  I didn't recognize the number so didn't answer. Message left on my phone that the IRS is going to sue me.

Automated call at 6am. Claimed we were being sued for back taxes. Left above number for call back. Threatened arrest if we  didn't contact them. I'm in Law Enforcement  dummy.

Got an automated message claiming this is the last chance or I will be sued by IRS. Please give me another chance!! Not Fair.

I received the exact same phone call about 10 minutes ago! Total scam!! Name on caller ID said "Graham  WA"

Said they were with the IRS and I was being sued for back taxes.

I got a call from an automated machine telling me to call 253-655-4387 because I was being sued by IRS for back taxes. Called the number and they couldn't verify anything so they hung up on me. Total scam!!

Total scam  they trick people into thinking there are the IRS and some people get arfriad  and pay because they think they are fpfoing to jail. The number they use is a spoof phone number these people are in the Middle East Google IRS phone scams and see all the calls they Mae a day they told me I would go to jail in 45 mins if I do not pay them  and the cops will be at my house in 45 mins and they would freeze my bank account my car the the guy than passed the phone to anther Indian with a heavy accent it so much noise in the back he told me he a officer off the court and he wanted to no why I didn't pay this and this be going on since 2008  he read 4 charges vs me all fake ones he ask if I had a lawyer and I told him I am lawyer this guy hung up so fast I keep trying to call back he must have block my number. If you get a call like this saying they are the IRS do not call back and if are scare call your local police never pay them or give  them no info they want to put people fear mostly older people or people they take advance off I hope every ones reports these people flood with complaints.

Got a call on way to work this morning.  This was an automated call saying they were from irs and got lawsuit against me-    i dont understand why the law doesnt stop this, they know the area of thiese callers and why do they let these people keep gettign away with this mess-

Its not hard to spoof a number - to make Caller ID show a fake number - if you know what you are doing.  The law does not know where the callers are.  Many of them are outside the US, in 3rd-world countries where scamming dumb Americans is not a crime.  There are lots of people running this scam, all independent of all the others.  US law enforcement cannot stop the calls.

If you get lots of calls from the same phone number a call blocker will help.  Your smart phone may have one pre-installed or you can download one for free.  For a simple cell phone put the number in your contacts list and give them the ring tone "no ring" or "silence",  That won't stop the calls but it will make them easier to ignore.

It was so stressful when this man with a strong accent told me his name is Ben Marshall,his number is AVMO206,that it's  from IRS that I have back taxes .There is  a warrant  for  me.He said not to discuss with anyone,that's how I came to realize that it's scam.Please someone help our informations are out there.I couldn't sleep the whole night.
