Just got a call from this # too!  Don't know it...didn't answer...

The company is NCA. They are a collection company that aquires accounts that are past. The 7 year regulations to collect. They hope people will pay by threatining fake court charges where they refuse. To show in writting.

I just get this call from an otherwise local number, what is UP with debt collection agencies using a 666 anywhere in their number? Upon answering this,  I'm greeted by David..who is all chit-chatty like we're old friends telling me he was there to help me..? He NEVER says who he works for...only that he is looking to speak with blah blah and then spits out the last four Social Security numbers and asks then demands I confirm them..only then does this guy David let me know that he works for a collection agency and that thia call may be recorded. I hung up.
Recommend the same..Don't CONFIRM ANY INFORMATION!! In the state of Washington,  collection agencies are required to inform you at the beginning of the call who they are, who they work for and what the call is about! If you give them ANY personal info, confirm any question with a YES, many of these types of companies will use this in THEIR favor and hold whatever they got against you all the way to court!

Says it's a personal matter but won't say what then hangs up.

called said they were a debt collector i said i pd it last year no other debts showing on my credit report ask them to email what they had and got disconnected
