Who is this

I got a call from this number. They left a voicemail and were calling from MultiCare's billing department.

Definitely MULTICARE billing.

This is a cell number prefix so I don't trust that it's multicare.  The message they left gave a different number, but the number that came up on my caller ID was this 777 number.  I called multicare about it because I have been dealing with multicare for years and never received this kind of call.

It's easy enough for scammers to "spoof" numbers, so you're right to be cautious.  Always call the number on your statement or their website.

Robocall with the following message:  This is Multicare Patient Financial Services.  Please return our call at 855-783-4362.  Thank you.

Not sure if this is legitimate call.  These numbers are NOT listed on Multicare's site.  Will contact Multicare directly to see what is up.

It turned out to be legit, but still it is better to be on the safe side and call the number on their website.  It turns out they had the wrong zip code so the bill never made it here.

If it really is multicare billing department, why wouldn't they leave a voicemail? I never get one.

Due to the ridiculousness of HIPAA and 'privacy' acts, they cannot give yo any information until they confirm that it's you.  Multicare contracts with outside agencies for certain things, and they sometimes do have the rapport or confidence that you would hear from a regular person from the company. They shouldn't even be asking for social or bank information, though.

Sometimes 'don't' have the rapport. Should have proofed that bad boy. Sorry. Couple typos.

Repeat calls third call today no message....strange thing this is third call in 30minutes that originated from Kent, Wa today?

If it’s multicare, why will they not give you info until you verify you social security number and date of birth?

I called multi care. I have no account with them. I still keep getting calls. Definitely a scam.
