I hung up when the recording started.

I hate these stupid calls. I've had this number for almost two years, Its a Comcast number and Verizon has to call with their bs? I didn't even answer, its not a number I recognize.

No message was left.

Called me 5x in 24 yes left no messages annoying as heck

Calls about 4-5 times a day no message left Called Verizon about it they said they had no idea what I was talking about. I just don't answer calls  that I don't recognize if no message is left I figure it was not important but thes are annoying.

yep....Verizon wireless, overdue bill. :(

5-23-14 Recorded message received. They stated my name and wanted me to press "1" if it was me and "2" if not, but they never stated who THEY were. Very suspicious. If legit, poor communication. I hung up.

I wish I could sue verizon for harassment considering they have called me and I've never had an account.

I get calls 3-5 times a day at least two weeks every month. They never leave a message and it is listed as Verizon when I google but I do not pay my bill through them and, it starts before my billing is due and continues after it's paid. Every month.

It's a scam! They called me stating they were from Verizon & I have an overdue bill of $275. I told them if they actually worked for Verizon they would know I paid that over 2 weeks ago...it's a Tacoma area code but they are calling from a call center in Ohio? WTF. Don't pay them! I confirmed with Verizon this place is not legit.

Left several voicemails stating they were Verizon wireless retention department. Robo calls states an unknown name and wanted me to press "1" if it was me and "2" if not. When I was able to answer and talk to a person they wanted to know my first and last name. Told them I wasn't going to give them any info other than that they have the wrong number. I've been with T-Mobile for at least ten years.

This is NOT Verizon, it's a phishing and/or voip hacker trying to scam you. Don't answer the call. If you do DONT PRESS ANY numbers.

Total scam.  I fell for it and it even shows on my bank statement as Verizon but it is not

Didn't answer and no message was left but if it was Verizon as other posters have said, then that's probably who it was since they are my carrier.
