A female computer generated voice saying the IRS is filing a lawsuit.  When you call back the number you get a busy signal.

Do consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.

Computer generated voice said a law suit would be filed. The caller stated it was my final warning. Never received any previous notifications. I believe that the IRS would approach me differently.

left message that the IRS was going to sue me. I returned the call and woman that could barely speak English said this is the IRS and I said right and don't ever call me again.

I called them back and got a person! Couldn't really get the right spelling of his name with his accent. I didn't give him any info than the phone he called me on since it was a google voice phone that I rarely use. He said he was from IRS. I asked him his address, he said "1111 Constitution Ave Washington State 2004. " I questioned him more and then asked for the spelling of his name and he hung up. When I began the call I told him I was recording him for quality assurance (I was because I have two phones) and he actually continued!  I knew it was a scam because the IRS does NOT call anyone this way. But hey what the heck, I guess I was bored over lunch. Ignore them.

A female voice said she was the IRS.  A law suit was filed against me. I should call 253-777-4258. I googled the number and found SCAM.

Call from"irs" 2x. Both messages as no one was home. From previous replies i guess its a scam

We just got a call this morning from this same number. I called it back, and the same guy answered. I just hung up. It's a scam I'm sure. Gonna report it today.

Received recorded call from 253-777-4258 claiming to be IRS. Called number back and after several attempts, a person with a strong foreign accent answered. Knew it was a scam at this point.

I just received a call from 253-777-4258 a female computer generated voice saying they were filling a law suit against me, they called back in the spring too, I told them the same thing. So I called the number back got a person with a very heavy accent, I let him go on and on, he was wanting me to send them $3000 by tonight, or the police would be at my house tomorrow to arrest me, lol. so then I spoke, I said well this is real interesting I work for the IRS and know for a fact  they don't call people, nor call and threaten people, then I said I was recording this call and was going to give it to the attorney general, he then hung up! For the record I don't really work for the IRS.

Voice Mail message from woman stating it was my final notice before being sued by the IRS.   When I called back the phone went to a dial tone.

Recd. call from 253-777-4258 on 9-3-15 @ 8:31 with recording and agent claiming to be from "IRS" w/
fraudulant scam and request to call back at same number. This is same fraud from Washington state as before but from a new telephone number issued by Level 3 Comm.,1025 ElDorado Blvd., Broomfield, CO 80021 and @ 877-453-8353. Caller in violation of numerous federal statutes and is participating in
an organized crime activity covered by RICO Act. Report ASAP to Police, St. Atty. Gen., FCC and to
www.irs.gov/uac/Tax-Scams-Consumerr-Alerts and www.treasury.gov/tigta/contact report.shtml. I sent
a complaint to Level 3 Comm. with statement for damages. They are aware of scams utilizing their
product services! However, they have refused to resolve my complaints.

They left a message claiming the IRS is initiating a lawsuit. Scam, of course.

Said the same thing.  An officer Michael something or other with a heavy accent.  I told him if the IRS needs to contact me then send a letter and hung up.  Total spam.
