**This is a scam!! Wants to remotely log on to your computer by feeding you some standard bs number after running cmd and assoc that is the same number for ALL computers.  Thick Indian accent, said he's in Houston, but calling from a Washington number and only provides a Santa Clara, CA address?  Wrong.

My neighbor fell for it.  I found out and told her it was a scam about a month later.  She spent the next day changing all of her bank account numbers.  

She took her tower to a local computer repair place.  It turned out the scammers turned-off her anti-malware program, but there was no other damage.  I suspect the computer was used for DDoS attacks.

Thick Indian accent, attempting some bs about computer being infected with adware.

Called cell 2:35pm. Dd not answer. No message.

Called on landline.  Picked up and said nothing.  Disconnected and beeped.

Got a missed call from this number. How are they getting our cell numbers?

Says they want to know what medicine i take and they can save me money says they are in Santa clara, ca. Area code show auburn washington.

My telephone has been programmed to block "out of area" numbers.  So on 10/13 and 10/15 those numbers were not allowed through.  Unfortunately, if it is "out of area" with a telephone number, it rings.  I decided to answer.  It is Peter (yeah right, Indian accent) calling from ????Pharmacy.  How am I doing today. (The attempt to engage me in friendly conversation irritates me to no end).  Asked him who he was again.  Repeated the same thing.  So I told him, Peter, you need to lose my number and disconnected.  Blocked!!!
I am on the DNC but these overseas thieves do not care about that so I do not waste my breathe advising them of same.  I only answer so I can record here.  I hope no one falls for the discounted drugs.
