- Mike MJust got the call and oriental woman said I was infected and my Pc was being used to hack,, I got her good when I said I would fix it myself, she said I couldn't because that is why she was calling me. I told her she was a hoax and she sounded just like the Ransom virus and the FBI virus, Then she got mad and said what is this Bullsh** and told me to go to Hell.
But did state she was from Microsoft- Caller: Betton ISD
- A Wise Student3X in 3 days. Comes up as the Belton Texas School District (Belton ISD). Even though I am not home when they call, I graduated years ago and I am too smart to pick up a call from somewhere or someone I do not know. Do you think that some day with all the technology that exists, the authorities will ever put a stop to all these annoying calls? It's amazing that we can spy on all these countries and people but we can't stop these calls.
- Caller: BELTON ISD
- JFJust called two minutes ago. I didn't respond. It was sure a robot call
- CTkec| 1 replyI just got a call from this number. The Caller-ID showed “Belton ISD”. I did not answer and they did not leave a message. Since they did not leave a message I assume they are telemarketers and so I have added this number to my blocked call list.
My phone number has been on the National Do Not Call Registry since August 2003 so if they are telemarketers, they are violating the law.
To block calls like this I got a Panasonic KX-TGE245B that allows me to block up to 250 numbers and/or area-codes. Panasonic has several new 2014 models that will block that many numbers. You simply save the CID to the blocked list. You can also block area codes by adding them to what they call a “Range List” (you are blocking the range of numbers starting with that area code). - Karen replies to CTkecThanks for the info on the Panasonic....I am using Panasonic now, but older and can only block 30 numbers. Boy do they fill up quickly. I just received my first call from "Belton ISD" and promptly call blocked it. Again, thanks for the tip!
- BudSame deal as everyone else, Belton, ISD. Just picked up/hung up after 1 ring. Nip it in the bud.
- Caller: Belton ISD
- MaxGot the call just now at 11:05am cst. As reported earlier, they're spoofing Belton, ISD in TX. My older Panasonic doesn't have any room left to block these calls. It's getting ridiculous.
- Caller: Belton, ISD
- Call type: Prank
- HollyJust got a call from this number. Didn't answer. They hung up. So much spoofing going on. Has it happen on our home number this week.
- Caller: Belton ISD

- AlisonGot a call from this number two days ago while out of town and the person told me my computer was being hacked -- he was calling from Windows to help me. Told him I'd be back in town today so he called today. Seemed fishy so I asked which computer he was talking about, and he said "Windows." I said that Windows is an operating system, not a computer so he told me the IP address (but he gave me a totally whack IP address). I asked his name and he said "Peter Zumba." I asked for his ID number and he said 7852640321. I also asked what number I should use if we get disconnected and he gave me a non-working number. I blocked the 254 number on my cell phone and immediately got a call from the same person from (406) then a (428) number.
He wanted me to go to some website. I feel pretty confident he wasn't protecting me from a hacker but that he IS the hacker. - DAReceived a call from this number today (Saturday) at 8 am! Didn't answer it, as I didn't recognize the number.
- FKRJust got a call from them asking if so and so (me) was home, I said no, wrong number and hung up. Did same thing when they called last night. Sounded like same guy. This stems from when they called a couple weeks ago with a blocked caller id. Nothing showed up on the phone. I was silly enough to answer it but caught on very quickly to what he was doing when he said he was from the World Wide Web and I asked how that could be when it was not an organization and he tried desperately to tell me it was. I argued with this bozo for about 10 minutes and told him to give up the ghost because I knew what he was doing when he told me that he was shutting my internet service down. I hung up and he kept calling back every few minutes for about 5 hours until they moved onto someone else. Only frightening thing about it was that he knew my first and last name and addressed me numerous times that way.
- Caller: World Wide Web
- Call type: Prank
- Ray| 1 reply3 calls today spoofing as Belton ISD.
Stated that my computer was sending messages to the world wide server that it was infected and needed to fix our computer. I do computer tech support for a living. I told them where to stick their "help", in so many words.- Caller: Windows Tech Support
- Bill replies to RayRcvd call same as two rcvd by Ray and FRK. Told caller in no uncertain terms what he could do with proposed "fix" and hung up. Somewhat concerned he knew my name and address....but what to do?
