Call from woman with accent saying she had my computer ID and my computer was at risk  I asked for my ID and her number - I'm sure this is a scam

I received the same call from a woman with an accent, saying she's from Microsoft and my computer has been hacked and I should act right away to allow her to fix. I asked her number so I can call her back.

Looks like a scam to me.

I received a call from a certain Jack Thorson saing that my computer is at risk and more
that I could not understand with an Indian accent, also he said was from Microsoft.

I received phone calI from this number (1 254 232 4302) and he also said that he is from Microsoft and my computor is at risk. this is a scam can something  be done. Microsofts name is used to scam inisent people

Fell for their scam last year but quickly cancelled - or so I thot.  Got refund from credit card, but have been getting phone calls  FREQUENTLY since then:  I have a virus and they need to help me; they are going out of business and need to refund my money; someone is hacking into my computer and they need to protect me.  I have asked them to stop calling, I have hung up on them.  I have reported them to the FBI internet scam unit, and still they call.  Today's Indian-accented female (they ALL sound Indian, BTW) said she was calling from New York from 'Windows' which had an obligation to protect me.  Hah!  This phone number seems to be from Waco, Texas.  Wonder where they really call from.  Any suggestions welcome!

Got the Microsoft Windows scamm call yesterday.  Kept the Indian accented guy on the line for a while he warned me about my computer.

They've moved on from the Windows scam. Apparently there has been fraudulent activity against my social security number and I need to contact them before they file charges!

This isn't real - that's not how it works - don't give them any information.
