- Just me| 2 repliesMy caller ID said unknown caller, and they didn't leave a message. Sure its a junk call so don't worry about it. The scammers and telemarketers don't care since most are robot calls.
- missyCaller ID said "Unknown Name"---didn't answer. Just another robo call.
- Call type: Telemarketer
- c.no message left so it's gotta be a robo call.
- BeeGot this call several time.
Seems its a Texas exchange. - PattiRecorded message was man trying to sell personal alarm systems. I got the call today.
- tired of solicitationsMan said he was Paul from Medical alert, Shipping Dept. Said because I had already been referred by professional, I was eligible to get Med Alert. All I had to do was punch a number. I hung up instead.
- Caller: Medic Alert
- Call type: Telemarketer

- On the do not call listSo much for government lists!
- JanMy caller ID said Out of Area. I waited to see if anyone spoke after my answering system activated. The message was to "Press one now to activate your Medical Alert System".
- Call type: Telemarketer
- Mickcaller wanting me to sign up for free groceries. Suppose to press 1. I just hung up. So sick of getting these calls even when I am on no-call-lists. I turn these numbers over to them hoping they all them.
- Call type: Telemarketer
- ClaireThese scammers seem to be busy today. This is the third robo call I've gotten today. I press on and immediately press off. Today's calls so far have been from INspire fake charity, vacation scam and now this one. These low lifes need to quit invading our homes.
- Irish254 799 2938 Waco Texas. I pick up and hang up in a mega second. Don't give it a chance to go to my voice recorder. Probably scammers. Prison is too good for them!!!
- Frustrated in NY replies to Just me| 1 replyThis is what the message said. "This is Mike from Medical Alert you are eligible for a free medical call button. They are trying to sell medical devices. Another telemarketer got through despite the fact my number is on the laughable, what a joke, federal DO NOT CALL REGISTRY!
- GG 5The caller said he was from a Medical Supply house and said I was eligible for a free Medical Alert system. My reply was no thank you and I hung up. This is probably the 10th call I have received giving me this message.
- B.A.A couple of years ago I kept a diary of all the different telemarketing calls I got just out of curiosity. In 3 months I got over 100 unique phone numbers, most of them scams. The Medic Alert calls were part of that. Once the robocall (this is illegal as well) said I could push 5 and be taken off their calling list, so I did it. Mistake. They called me one more time (they have 30 days to take my name off the list which is ridiculous) the next day then I had no further calls from that number. However, over the next week I got the exact same call from 7 different numbers from all over the country. I think the Do Not Call list was started with good intentions but until the phone companies find a way and implement it to stop these people's ability to spoof numbers, it's going to keep happening. Maybe it's time for a grass roots push on the phone companies to do something about this.
- Caller: "Unknown Name"
- etbThe caller left a message, automated type, saying i was approved for that medic alert thing at no cost to me and if i accepted today i would get $1,000 in food coupons. These are foods i already buy, he sai so look how much money i would save.
Ok so who would know what foods i buy. I am very careful about my info and do not participate in any of the grocery store card discounts or any of that stuff. So all this has to be robo calling in hopes someone will bite their hook. If anyone has done the deed please write and tell us about this scam- Caller: medic alert
- Call type: Telemarketer
- MaryReceived call and did not answer. Tried to call back to ask them to quit calling and the message stated THAT I HAD REACHED A NUMBER THAT WAS NO LONGER IN SERVICE. SW Bell does not know what lines they have open.
They can call out but we can not call in to be removed from the list- Call type: Prank
- mikeMy experience is much the same as B.A.'s experience. For several years I have been keeping track of calls I get. I get calls from all over the United States, from Canada, from The Dominican Republic, from Puerto Rico, from India, and from Pakistan. There seems to be no end to it.

- SORI've virtually blocked all area codes and defined separately in my blocker those numbers that I allow to get through to my landline phone. This area code (254) was not blocked, but is NOW.
This call showed up as TEXAS CALL, but we don't answer unknown calls, so I don't know what the caller tried to sell or claim.
The springtime has got all scammers/scumbags to crawl out of their earth holes, the calls have increased, again, but very few get through and then I block.- Caller: Texas Call
- NotaSenior replies to Frustrated in NYThey keep changing their number, even after you tell them to stop calling, and report them.
