I just got a call myself saying they were calling from our local fire department

just got a hang up call 720 pm or so I live in morgan co

Hung up when I answered the phone.  My number is unlisted so they must be running a random call program.

No one was on the line when I answered.

they wanted me to purchase tickets for a concert for local fire dept.

Got one today, but didn't answer. Those kind of calls are always scary. Makes me paranoid that it's a shakedown and they'll burn down my house if I don't donate.

My elderly parents have been getting calls from this number and they always hang up when they answer. they live in cullman county.

They ask for me by name then hang up

I live in Madison county.  Got this number a few weeks ago on my home line, I did not answer but, when the answering machine did, he kept saying hello?, hello?, hello?..... hi? then the machine cut him off.  Tonight, I got another call from this number and he did the same thing, hello 3 times, then he said my first name, which isn't listed in the phone book.  I picked up then, only because I was expecting a call.  He hung up.  That was odd I thought.  I redialed the number and it gave me a fast busy tone noise, I called twice more with the same response.  I then did a search online and it led me here.  People need to get a life, seriously!

I just got a call on my home phone from 256-261-7728. I don't have caller i.d. and I missed the call, I used *69 and got the number and when I tried to call it back it wouldn't ring it just hung up

Madison County, AL.  Call came in at 8:56pm last night.  My Mediacom Cable phone showed "Unknown Name", and all I heard was breathing, no answer from them.
