Just got a call ignored it since I don't know anyone in Al. No msg left probably a telemarketer or survey taker.  Got a call from RI 401 558-0037 a few days ago I assume it was the same type of call.

if you do not owe anything, press 2.    I continually pressed down he pound sign
and the call was aborted.

Received call from this number on 1/15/2011.

It is from an automated telemarketer selling 2% rate mortgages.  Since there is no legal way to provide a 2% mortgage, and my phone numbers are on the national do not call registry, this is obviously a scammer company trying to rip off consumers.  Most likely, they are either trolling for active phone numbers, or they are trolling for personal information so they can steal you identity.

Back taxes scam. As soon as the loser answers and I tell her to remove my name the [***] hangs up. So F'ing annoying. I call back and it says it's an non-working number.

I got the 2% rate mortgage thing.  I pressed '1' for more information because I wantd their company name and more information to report them to the do not call list.  When I started asking them questions they hung up on me.  I guess they are looking for someone who won't ask questions and will just give them information.  I'm not sure if it does anything, but I will report them to the do not call list.  I hope everyone does the same.

Got a call from this number, call right back now the number is not in service.

This is a scam regardless of what they are selling - me its the home security system.  The automated portion used the name "Home Security Network", but "Jason" while trying to get my personal information twice told me they didn't have a company name when I asked.  When I told him that I wasn't going to give my personal information until he told me the name of the company, he hung up on me.  Report them to the FTC as it is fraud.  The FTC also suggested I file a complaint with my state's Attorney General's office.

At first I tried press"2" to be removed, didn't work. Then connected to operator to ask to be removed the next few times, and now they just hang up on me. Makes me so mad!
