Sound like some Russian accented message when I call back, I don't understand what's said & nobody ever talks. Also never leave a message. Another bunch of jerkos ! AND it's not possible to reject calls from this number ...why ho why ?

Just rec'd a call from 256-665-9977.  The first gentleman that called told me his name was Edward Coolen.  I had to get him to spell it because of the Indian accent.  I asked what company and he said LLC Law Firm.  he wouldn't tell me where they were located and was rude and said they would be having me arrested at 11am tomorrow if I didn't give them my attorney's information.  Then they wanted to confirm my birthdate and social security number.  I told them I absolutely would not.  So the guy put me on hold and another guy, Jacob Martin (very heavy Indian accent) got on the phone and just wanted to let me know if I wouldn't talk to them and verify my identity then there was nothing they could do for me.  When I asked who their client was they told me some check cashing place.  I've never, in my entire life, used check cashing services.  I actually have a list of numbers that call me each week and it sounds like the same folks.  The last 4 times they've called, they've actually called from different numbers but use the same company name.

These guys are scammers.

They called at 6:25 am but did not leave any messages.

LLC Law Firm is a group trying to get you to divulge information about yourself, and may be associated to some sibling collection agencies. They have a heavy Indian/Pakistani accent and have not legal basis to be calling people and making threats.

They will call at any hour of the day or night to harass you.

Called them in the afternoon around 5:00 pm.

Got an answering machine; the language was definitely Korean.

I received a call from this number and a man with a foreign accent asked for the lady of the house.  I asked what he wanted and he wanted to know if I was interested in selling my time shares.  Told him I didn't have any to sell and hung up.

I received a call from this number and could not understand the person (with a foreign accent). They kept asking something--which I could not understand.

Got a call from my girlfriend overseas, and it registered as this number...which is not hers! She is never being in AL. It's bizzare, but it has happened about 3 times to date.

I received a phone call on Friday, 7 January 2011, from an individual with a heavy accent asking if I was who I was and asked if the last 4 digits of my SSN were my SSN.  I said yes, and he proceeded to tell me he was a debt collector for Northland Group in regard to a Premier Bank account.  I am trying to correct things on my credit report so I listened.  He said the compnay was offering a one time settlement on the account.  I agreed that I would like to participate, but it was the three questions he asked that showed some shady business going on.  These are the three things he asked for that I did not reply:  Estimated take home pay, my marital status, and how much I paid for mortgage/rent.  I informed this individual that I had dealt with debt collectors in the past, and they never asked me any questions like that.  And I hung up the phone.  Then, the stupid person decides to call me back from this phone number:  (650) 230-1967.  He was actually begging for me to continue with trying to obtain a settlement.  I hung up again.  I do regret giving him my cell phone number.  The following day, the phone number (256) 665-9977 called and it was the stupid ass man again.  I hung up again.  They call like every other day from the (650) 230-1967 ohone number, but I am at work.  Thank goodness I did not provide my work number.  Besides, I have dealt with the real Northland Group in the past and they are very legit and professional.
