This number calls everyday and does not leave a message and does not talk when I answer my phone.

Unknown caller -does not say anything

Just got a call...no one spoke, just dead air.

Caller ID says Hartselle, AL

I have gotten calls from this number for 2 weeks. I'm on the Do Not Call list, not the call and hang-up on me list!!!!

This number calls and leaves no message.

For the last several days we've received several calls where the caller stayed on the line but no one spoke.  We are also on the do not call list so don't normally get marketing calls.  Starting on Jan. 21 we got a call from an unknown source.  The next evening that number called again and a woman identified herself as representing Direct Buy to which we told her very sternly that we were not interested given what we know about the business practices of the company.  The next day that same number called again (it is 857-444-5566) and a different woman (with a foreign accent) identified herself as representing Direct Buy and we asked she take us off her calling list.  Then tonight, Jan. 24th, the 256-754-2791 number showed up on our caller ID as being from Hartselle, AL and no one was on the line when we answered.  I'm posting here since it seemed a coincidence that the 256-754-2791 no. was reported by another person on whocallsmeDOTcom as having a caller identifying the 2791 number as representing Direct Buy.   Perhaps the two are related but there is little doubt that they are anything other than scammers.  It would be nice if they'd leave us alone after their first unsuccessful call, though.

I am receiving daily calls from 256-754-2791 and when I answer no one says anything for a few seconds and then a recording says "goodbye".  I have called the number and get a message saying it is not a working number.  Just received a call from them and I let it go to voicemail.  When I checked my messages you could hear muffled talking in the background and after a minute or so it said I had been disconnected from this group.

The caller said...
"Hi this is David from Direct Buy..."  
I hung up!
I do not do business with any company called "Direct Buy" and I am listed on the Do Not Call Registry.
This NUMBER is a Serial Harasser.

Just got a call from 256-754-2791. I was busy and didn't answer but when I called it back I got a message it said " the number you have reached is not in service".  First time I had this and hope its the last because obviously its not legit and more than likely connected with a scam.
