Was called at my workplace - they asked for the business owner.  When asked if I could help them, they said it was a "civic matter for the business owner" and would not give me any more information.  They said they would call back later, but gave no indication of why, or what it was about.

Have called us numerous times asking for someone I do not know. Each time I tell them this and ask to have my number removed. Get promised they will do so and the calling continues....Shows us as Ranburne, AL on caller ID.

Got a call at our business, said he was from Alabama State Police, sorry I don't believe him, he was asking for money.

Update:  The same number has continued to call my workplace nearly every day for several days now. This last call, the man rudely did not even hang up before saying with a thick accent "I'm not even gonna ask, I get tired of asking, you know they're not there" then they hung up on me.

Truly, if they cannot learn to have a little bit of courtesy or respect for whomever they are trying to reach maybe they should give up their telemarketing aspirations?

They refuse to state who they are, where they are calling from, or the reason for their call.
