Called to set up delivery of furniture items I ordered online. Completely legit.

Considered submitting my information for a quote from Allied Van lines concerning a quote.  I decided against it and closed the window.  

The information was retained by the Web site nonetheless.  Ten minutes later I received a call and a message from 260-429-2515 from Allied. Two more calls and messages followed that day.  Three more yesterday and still another this morning.  

In addition, I received multiple e-mails.  The calls have continued despite my e-mailing that I had changed my mind about moving.

Irritating calls from Allied Van Lines.  If I want their service I'd call them.  Getting irritated its twice a day for the last week

Not claims because we haven't moved with them yet, they are returning our number for a quote.

I asked for a moving quote and did a multiple request. Asked to be contacted by e-mail. Immediaetly phone rings. He insisted that I have someone come out for a visual inspection. Explained that I was just asking for a guess as I am not moving anytime soon. kept insisting until I told him that I did not need their services 2 hours later, a woman called. advised her that I only wanted to be contacted by e-mail. She said they did not do e-mail requests. I thanked her and told her I was not interested. PUSHY !!!!

They also work with IKON. For instance, if you had an old copier lease and went to a new supplier; IKON gives them your number to try and solicit the transportation of your copier back to IKON.

The allied.com and northamerican.com websites did not (in 2009) retain information on forms there were NOT submitted. What is more probable is that you filled out a form on ANOTHER website like moving.com, movingcompany.com, 123movers.com, etc. and it was sold to Allied/North American.

two belligerent women called me from this number twice demanding information about another company. Repeatedly told them they had the wrong number, they continued to call, threatening and screaming all the way.

Legit. I'm shipping a motorcycle, this is the courier that called me to arrange pickup.
