Multiple calls over a couple of weeks. Answered none of them and they leave no message. I called the number back from work  (large corporate phone system) and nobody answers. Phone picks up after 5 rings, I hear about half a second of something garbled, about 10 seconds of static laden "silence", and then a disconnect. Tried calling twice for good measure. Same result. I will go out on a limb and say that this number does not belong to anyone reputable...going onto the Ooma blacklist

Received a call at 8:45 PM today (2 September 2014).  I have an answering machine, at the beep they left no message.  I've gotten a few other calls around this time of night lately as well, probably the same number/person.

Keep calling and don't leave a message. My husband answered once while I wasn't home. They asked for me by name and said they'd call back. Have kept calling a few more times. Hope to catch them someday.

Claimed to be calling from a local police charity.  My guess is that it's just a big charity call center that calls around anyone that pays them.

Finally they left a message and said that his name was John Anderson. He left a whole different number to call him back on though.

Yes he says he is John Anderson and to call him back at a different number. I finally am able to share with you that OTHER number. Here is the number John Anderson says to call him back at; (262)833-0320.
