Obvious telemarketer/ survey call.  Said hello and they came on after a slight delay saying they are calling on behalf of the "pro-life" something-or-rather and can they speak with the "lady of the house."  Said they'd try again later.  

This lady would not tell me what she wanted. She representated "reproductive health committee?" or something like that. She was rather rude and would not tell me what she wanted unless I was the lady of the house. So won't answer that one again.

". . . unless I was the lady of the house." - - Very Funny! You should of told her that Harriet Nelson, Gracie Allen, Margaret Anderson, & June Cleaver were busy playing bridge.

Didn't leave a message.  I wish I had picked up.  I can do a pretty good female voice.  These people sound like they'd be fun to tease.

Caller ID=L7 SCVC CALL - Calls repeatedly. Several times each day. No message. REPORTED.

Caller asked for lady of the house.  I said the lady of the house is not here. The caller said they would call back later.

They are scammer, ask the house information, bank information. It,s interrupt call.

Pro Life dark money calling for the lady of the house that;s me..kiss my behind you [***]..press one to opt out of their annoyance .

Caller said she was from "The Pro-Life Committee" and wanted to speak to "the lady of the house". Note that this religious zealot falsified their caller ID, which violated the 2009 Truth in Caller ID act. I guess they're ashamed of the truth. It was all I could to to hold my tongue and hang up instead of saying how tragic it was that her mother didn't abort her and the same for the rest of her "committee" of religious zealots.

Received call L7 SCVC CALL  # 262 672-4859  Caller said her name was Theresa and asked if I was Prolife or Prochoice, etc.  I indicated that I was Prolife.  She then started giving me all the sad statistics pertaining to aborted babies.  She then asked if she sent an envelope to me, would I pledge $75. I told her I couldn't pledge  anything; she then wanted to know if I could pledge $50, then $30, and finally down to $15.  And all during the call she kept talking about all the poor little aborted babies.  I told her I would not promise to give any amount, for her to send me some literature and I would read it and check it out.  She said that the reason that she was calling was because postage and envelopes, etc. cost money, etc.  She kept trying to get me to pledge money - I kept telling her that I would not pledge any money until I checked it out.  She cussed at me and slammed the phone receiver down!  This proved to me that it was just a big scam.      

Caller i.d. said, "L7 SCVC CALL".  They called at 8:52 p.m.  We were closed at the time and no message was left.  I wonder where they are getting their call list from because this is a business that they're calling.  And the irony of it all, this is a telemarketing company that the call came to, lol.  I read all of the posts on here, and the last post before mine made me wonder what would have happened if someone else would have said they are pro-choice?  Would the scammer have stated how that life is an individual choice and the world is over populated?  (so they could ask for a donation again?)

Asked if I was Pro-Life or  Pro-choice, when I answer Pro-choice just to get a different reaction instead of hanging up on me she asked if I could send $100 to them to fight the right-wingers in congress and help defend RvsW!! Confirmed Scam, they are trying to play both sides of the field.

Numerous calls, sometimes 3/day. Blocked first number they used now they are using different number. Filed report with first number they used with FCC and waiting for their response (did this before with other callers and the FCC does respond). FYI: go to FCC consumer complaints and have all info (times, dates, etc.) at hand if you want to file a complaint. Will now file report using second number. These scam/scumbags will not get away with calling 2-3 every day!

That was my thought exactly!!  Willing to take your money and argue whichever side you agree to.  A scam all about the money and willingly playing on your emotions!  Dripping with slime ..  what else is new?

L7-Scvc Call seems to refer to the carrier, not the caller. You see it when you get called by a customer of Layer 7 Hosted VOIP Services (based in San Diego) and they have not bothered to set their own Caller Id information. 86 differnt pages at 800notes.com refer to them.

They seem to be used by many spammers (or perhaps one robo-dialer with many different spoofed caller-id numbers)

Jack doesn't know jack. Jack is as dumb as a stump. They aren't religious, they are scam artists, and have no interest in religion. They are breaking the law by making the call and mask their identity. Only a dumba$$ would answer the phone call of a long distance number they didn't recognize, and fabricate a story to fit what little they know. Go back and get your GED.

The problem with reporting them is how to identify the telemarketer doing the calling. Reporting them does little good. That said, they did finally nail the company Rachel with "Card Services", but it took years, and they are back in business.

Unless the federal government can make more money than it costs to prosecute, they won't file charges even if they know who it is.
