- David| 1 replyI've been getting calls from this number, too. No messages left. It appears to be a cell number as there's no one known to be associated with it after a few searches looking for info on it.
- nikkiI get several calls a day from this number and they never leave a message!
- Who is this? This number called my cell phone and II called it back from a different land line number. They answered after the initial recorded 'wait for next representative message'. I think they said it was 'Source Receivables Management' which could also be 'SRM'. When I looked it up this is what I found 'Source Receivables Management, LLC is a private company categorized under Adjustment and Collection Services and located in Greensboro, NC. Our records show it was established in and incorporated in Maine. Current estimates show this company has an annual revenue of 800,000 and employs a staff of approximately 12.
- ConnieI received a call from this number today but hung up. I assumed since there was a delay in being connected that it had to be a collection agency and I have no intentions of talking to Companys that purchase unsolicited delinquent debt whether defaulted by fault or not, whether rightful debt or not, and which alleged debt is not really collectable by them. Do your homework and educate yourself of your rights and you will see how quickly you can get them off your back. They prey solely on the fear factor. One piece of advice. Never talk to them and if you do, never admit to anything because the statute of limitation will start new with the day you admitted to any alleged debt. Good luck!
- CatJust got a call from this number. All that was on my Caller ID was "Wisconsin Call"
Annoying as all get out. I have a LIST of numbers that somehow get through. Pretty impresive.
I did press #1 and talked to some idiot. Told him to quit calling and I hung up. - M Theory replies to DavidThis is a bill collector. The guy was an obvious hack and does not understand the rules that apply to consumers under The Fair Credit Reporting Act. He ignored my repeated request for PROOF OF CLAIM. If you get collection letters, here is how to deal with them once and for all.
Re: Validation Request & Proof of Claim
Dear __________,
In your letter you claimed that I owe a debt which I am not aware of. I may accept your offer to pay this amount upon Validation and Proof of Claim. Please produce the original signed note and any attachments to the note along with the signed agreement for my personal review and inspection. Please produce certified copies of the initial balance sheets and legible copies of all the original instruments and all documentation with my signature that make me liable for a debt that I may owe to you, your company/corporation, or anyone you or your company/corporation work for or represent. Please return to me PROOF OF CLAIM with an Affidavit signed in accordance with 28 U.S.C. Section 1746 and notorized by a licensed Notary as sufficient Proof of Claim.
Your offices have 30 days to produce the required documentation in accordance with FTC guidelines. During this validation period and proof of claim, if any action is taken which could be considered detrimental to any of my credit reports, said action will be considered a violation; this includes any listing of any information to a credit reporting repository that could be inaccurate or invalidated.
Furthermore, if your offices fail to respond to this validation and proof of claim request within 30 days from the date of your receipt, all references to this account must be deleted and completely removed from my credit file and a copy of such deletion request shall be sent to me immediately. Please be advised that your failure to produce the Validation and Proof of Claim within 30 days, will prove your correspondence appears to be a scheme devised for obtaining money under false pretenses and will be dealt with accordingly. See Title 18 Section 1341 (Frauds and Swindles).
Kind Regards,
Joan Consumer
Courtesy of Credit Assistance Network...More useful client tools can be found at www.CreditAgenda.com - StaceyThis number shows up on Caller ID as Wisconsin Call. An automated service comes on the line and states they are looking for a certain person, in my case always seems to be a Mathew King. It asks if you are said person to press 1 and if not to press 2 so you can be removed from the call list. I've pressed 2 repeatedly only to be disconnected immediately. Today I pressed 1 and when a representative answered and asked to speak with said person I stated that person does not live here, this is not their number I've repeatedly pressed 2 only to be hung up on and want to be removed from their list, in which I was hung up on. So they will now be turned in to the FCC website for scammers because I don't know who they are.
