Called me at 2:50 CST.  Had my name, cell number and vehicle information.  Said they were from "Vehicle Processing Center".  This is how the conversation went:

Caller: Hello, Is this Mr. X
Me: Yes
Caller:  This is the Vehicle Processing Center calling about your 2011 BMW.  How's that working out for you?
Me:  You know what?  
Caller: What?
Me:  This is a scam call and I want you to remove me from your list.
Caller:  How do you know this is a scam call?
Me:  Because I just talked to BMW yesterday.
Caller:  Have a nice day. "Click"

262-901-2547 keeps calling my cell about every other day. No messages left and when I tried calling it back the message was "welcome to verizon wireless, the number you have called is not a working number or no longer in service"
Must be a computer generated number, reported to the FTC

I rtecieved a threatening call demanding information on what vehicles I owned and that one was due for service. Caller stated that it didn't matter that I was on the do not call list. Reported the call to Wisconsin consumer protection

Sick of these people. Call the number back and its disconnected.

Answered and just a a hang up on me. Telephone scam I am sure

Received strange call from this number within 5 minutes of ahvign signed up for Angie's List. Not sure what the connection would be (if any).

Two days ago I received ANOTHER call from 262-901-2547 stating that I had been approved for a business loan.  Instead of pressing "2" to be removed from their calling list (which obviously does not work), I pressed "1" to be connected to an agent.  When "Jay" answered he started his "speech."  I told him I was not interested and the only reason I pressed "1" was to tell them to please remove my name.  Before I could finish, he hung up on me.  Sooooooo, I just received another call from this number and once again I pressed "1" and as soon as the live agent started their speech I blew a LOUDDDDDDD whistle in the phone.  I keep the whistle hanging on a door knob in my house and when I get a call like this, they get an ear full.  I'm not sure how the people on the other end of the phone feel, but I feel better.

Scam calls

Usually I connect, then immediately disconnect without speaking.
I would gladly pay to watch these skanks be eaten by wolves.
But I guess that would be cruel to the wolves. Maybe just disolve them in a vat of industrial waste at the Hanford nuclear reservation.

Calls our business and immediately hangs up when we answer. Waste of our time.

A recorded female voice said "Hi, I'm Ali.  You've qualified for a small business loan..."

spam, did not even pick up the phone

Faked number calling to scam car owners with a rip off car warranty 'offer'.   They pretend to be your dealer or a factory warranty rep. in the hopes someone will be dumb enough to agree to one of their over-priced, crappy, rip-off (fake) warranty contracts.

Fake number = SCAMMER

They hung up as soon as I answered. Annoying. Number is blocked now. The only reason I picked it up is because I am planning a business trip to WI in a week and I thought it was the hotel calling to confirm. Noooope....just an annoying solicitor/scammer

call - did not answer - no message left - probably a scam or telemarketer.

Call says "after a review of your account you are eligible for a small business loan of up to $250000..." except I don't have a business. Just a scammer. Reported to FTC.

Called and left no message.  When I get a call like this the first think I do is check this site.

I'm happy to ignore them but it is such a waste of their time and effort.

And yes, my number is on the DNC list.

Scammers calls big time. I just don't answer the phone.
