Blocked call

Someone with eastern accent with Windows Support saying that I am generating crap on the internet and they traced it to my computer.  Wants to take over my computer and then lock me out to extort $$.

Told him to give me the IP address or MAC address but somehow that is not in the script.

Have received repeated calls from this number without a message being left. Have not picked up.

Leaves no message & can not call them back - like it doesn't exist. Had this number call several time over last couple of weeks - just put a block on my number

Caller ID came up "Name Not Found".  No message.  Blocked caller #463 (two Panasonics), idiot call #946 since 5/2/13.  Caller ID "1" (100-000-0000) has called 69 times, including 12 in one day, 6 on another.  I also had to block my own scammed number as caller ID indicated that I received a call from IT!

Did not answer, listed as Name Unavailable, has called over a dozen times in the last three days.

Said that I had a legal judgment against me. Said that I needed to call the number back with legal representation.

Traced the number to a Coffeyville KS?  I don't answer the call, but they don't leave a message  AND when you call back the number is blocked so that it says there is no such number.

The IRS is after me.

Didn't answ.  when I looked up the area code it said Zimbabwe.

Got a call from this number.  "Tech Support America" was the supposed company.  I work in Information System as a programmer.  This is a painfully poor scam.

Their opening line was, "you use your computer for internet searches."  Well, no crap genius.
Whatever "help" they planned to offer I'm sure would have been worthless at best, but most likely malicious.

Called me at 8:56 PM on a Wednesday night. 263 is not a valid area code, so this is clearly a fraud/scam call with intent to get personal information and steal from individuals who answer and speak with the caller. I did not answer and neither should you.  This is just another scammer scumbab

Guy with Indian accent said  he's calling from American Indian Corp. He said, there's a problem with my computer.
These creeps been calling the last year. I disconnected after he said, 'problem with my computer,' but not before screaming in his eardrum, STOP CALLING!'

this is a scam claimed they were form a it department when. When I brought up my neighbor was sitting right next to me and he worked in federal law enforcement (FBI) they hung up

Only on April 15th.   For most taxpayers.

263 is a disposable (fake) area code in Africa.  They use the country code and then the area code followed by any phone number they want to put in.  Scammers use it all the time from what I've been reading.  The country code apparently does not show up on the caller ID.  Best to not even answer and block the area code if you have a blocker.
