how could there possibly be no reports concerning this number??????  three days ago there were about 50 comments, and I left an additional comment.    could 800notes be selling out?????????

This number appears to belong to a company called Transworld Systems.  They don't ever leave messages, it just appears that they call from a cell number.

They ask for personal information and refuse to tell you who they are.  Like telephone number, social security number,

They call all day long every single day, sometimes 5 or 6 times per day, early in the morning and late at night.  They never leave a message.  If you call them back, they ask you for personal information and are extremely rude - refusing to give you any information.  In California, there are laws against this type of harassment.  Why are we in other states continuing to tolerate harassing phone calls?  How do we stop ongoing calls like this?

They keep calling and asking for personal information regarding a "personal business matter". I gave them my lawyers name. It's really annoying because they won't tell me what it is in regards to, but want all of my personal information. I called them back several times and asked to be removed from their call list.

Calls numerous times of day and evening. No message. No information. Sometimes the person on the other end doesn't even hang up once my voicemail answers...they just wait out the voicemail..I can hear them keying and breathing on the other end.

They called my number asking for my husband.  When I said he's not here and is there anything I can help with?  They asked if I were his wife, I said yes, then they waited a little, then told me they must speak to him so they'll call back another time.  Uhmmmmm....  Why would they call my number asking for him then refuse to tell me what it is??????  must be a scam.

On July 9, 2013 Expert Global Solutions Inc and its subsidiaries (including Transworld Systems Inc) have agreed to enter into a Stipulated Order for Permanent Injunction and Monetary Judgment by agreeing to pay a civil penalty and ceasing telemarketing practices that were alleged by the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) to be in violation of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) and the FTC Act.

In its complaint, the Federal Trade Commission alleges that Expert Global Solutions and its subsidiaries called consumers to collect a debt and would continually call with the intent to harass the consumers, including calling consumers' place of employment even when the employer did not allow personal calls. In the instances where consumers confirmed that they were not the individual who owed the debt, the company would continue to call to obtain information about the individual who owed the debt even though the company said they would stop calling and had no reason to believe the person they were speaking to had any knowledge of the person who owed the debt. The companies also left messages on voicemail, leaving information with the debtor's name and confirming that a debt was owed, in violation of the FDCPA.

Expert Global Solutions Inc and its subsidiaries have been enjoined from: falsely stating they will not contact consumers to collect a debt; communicating with any person other than the debtor (or those authorized under the law in conjunction with the debtor) regarding the debt owed unless communicating once for the purpose of obtaining location information for the debtor; harassing a consumer while attempting to collect a debt; communicating with a person in connection with a debt at an inconvenient time or place (including place of employment); continuing communication if a consumer has requested no further contact or if a consumer submits in writing that he/she refuses to pay a debt; leaving voicemails with information about a debt owed; and violating any provision of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.

Expert Global Solutions Inc and its subsidiaries are also required to: report the debt as disputed or request deletion from credit reporting within 14 days after the denial, dispute, or challenge, complete an investigation within 30 days of the denial, provide verification of the debt and the basis for it if the debt is valid within 15 days, or inform the consumer the debt is not valid and cease collections as well as inform the credit reporting agency to delete the debt if reported; keep records documenting attempts and results of calls regarding a debt, as specified in the Order.

For a period of 5 years from the date of the order, Expert Global Solutions Inc and its subsidiaries must make the following disclosures on each written collection communication that is sent to a debtor for the purpose of collecting on debt:

Some Tips:
*Keep all messages
*Take a picture of your Caller ID
*Keep any and all conversations recorded to your states recording laws, some require they be told, others do not. This can be transferred to a recording device.
*Keep a notebook handy for writing time,date, who you spoke with and what the conversation detailed.
*Check your SOL for your state as well.
*Attorneys need to be licensed as a DC to collect, all DC's must be licensed in their state as well as yours if different.

this number calls me every day without a break. I refuse to answer because I dont know the number. But it is a harassment because I have to use this phone for my work. Every day for the last 6 months this number calls and I do not answer. I'm getting sick of it tbqh. Some here say it is a debt collector, and if it is they will never reach me this way.
