- White Jerome| 1 replyIt's VERIZON WIRELESS because you didn't pay your bill. (Although I just paid mine their system will keep calling). PAY your Verizon Bill and you won't get this on your cell phone.
Although they are stupid and annoying because no one is every there to speak. THINK they're just trying to be annoying.- Caller: Verizon Wireless (I think)
- AnonThis is not a spam call. It's Verizon. I'd check your balance, any fees, etc. If you're still looking good, give their finances department a call.
- Caller: Verizon Wireless
- Call type: Debt collector
- AnonThen thier caller ID should read VERIZON, not UNKNOWN. If it said VERIZON, I'd pick it up.
- Caller: UNKNOWN
- danzI agree, I do not answer unknowns as Verizon suggests doing to protect
ones' self.
Just say Verizon. period. - Verizon customerIt's not Verizon directly- it's a collections agency doing business for Verizon.
- Call type: Debt collector
- annonI also get calls from Verizon that come up as AMER RED CROSS and I know it Verizon cause I pick it up one time just curious. what is up with that? stop playing that you are someone else Verizon and just come up that it is Verizon calling what are you afraid of?
- IveWokenNow replies to White JeromeIt can't be Verizon Wireless because I didn't pay my bill. I've been behind for over a year because of having others on my bill. I just paid my bill in full last week and I'm now receiving calls from this number for the first time. It may be Verizon, but I know it's not just for non payment or late payment since I owe nothing.
- DollyIf it is Verizon, why wouldn't they leave a message? I do not owe Verizon, why would they call me? This number calls on my Comcast phone.
- Its meThe 267-773-#### are from UCB a debt collector for Verizon Wireless.
- Caller: UCB for Verizon WIreless
- Call type: Debt collector
- NicolemarieThey call 4 times a day nobody answers and they don't leave messages and I don't owe Verizon any money so this is strange
- clariceannnNever make a payment to one of these calls. Call the number on your bill and pay there or send a check via the envelope provided with your bill. I give no personal information to no one over the phone unless I am the one initiating the phone. Angers a lot of these people, but I'm not onto pleasing strangers who call with an unavailable caller ID. Too many scams going on!
- Caller: Unavailable
- DoucetteContinuous calls without leaving messages (especially to a woman who is 9 months pregnant on bed rest and considered high risk) is considered harassment. Leave messages for the nature of your call or you will be reported!
- shaI have answered my phone twice to this number and nobody responds. It's a dead call. My bill is paid up to date so
I can't imagine that this is a collector or Verizon.. - nounknowncalls| 1 replyThis is NOT Verizon -- This is Wells Fargo Dealer Services---
- Caller: Wells Fargo Dealer Services
- Call type: Debt collector
- nounknowncallsAnd it traces back to a Cingular Cellular caller --- This *IS* illegal -- even if you owe money....
Definitely -- pay your bill and they won't call --- but if they DO call, they should be doing it on the up n up...- Caller: Wells Fargo Dealer Services
- Call type: Debt collector
- MRVerizon Wireless. Message states that they are calling about a "change to your account", but they are actually are calling about a past due payment. They will alo call from (215) 600-4511 as well as other numbers.
- Caller: Verizon Wireless
- Call type: Debt collector
- MR replies to nounknowncallsSo the message is lying when they say it is Verizon Wireless? And when I call back, it states that it is Verizon Wireless? Check you number idiot.
- Blue Light ONI have no idea who this is. They call nonstop and they leave no message. They have even called my work asking for me. I am an Officer and my department pays for thier Police Officer's phones. If you do pick up, it connects you to an automated system and you can't talk to a live person. They don't even tell you who they are. I had my identity stolen once already along with 3 Grand from answering questions from a listed 800 Verizon Number. It came up on the caller ID and when I googled the number, it came up as Verizon. My bill is always paid on time, if not early as it is paid by the masses through my employer, and they said there was a mixup because of the new Android I just traded in for on our contract. These people had everything. So when 3 Grand disappeared from my checking account and Verizon asked me if I was making calls from Ireland... I was like... Um no as I am sitting here at work. I gave them that number and they said it was not their company... WTF?!?!?! This is why I will not answer any number I don't know, if its unlisted or blocked and especially if I can't get information about the number on Google.
And as before when I answered the questions in 2010 it was a 267 area code and a 773 extension. Don't ever give any area code number any information even if its an 800 number. Look it up and verify it first.- Caller: Some say Verizon, some say Wells Fargo and I have even seen Comcast a few times.
- IowenothingIf this is Verizon, I am on a prepay and pay monthly by having them take it out of my bank account regularly. If I owe more, they can send me a bill. I never got a bill. I've called before about this and was told I am ok. I prepay and have a positive, not negative, balance.
- DrrVerizon wireless. Annoying, but legit.
- Caller: verizon
- Call type: Debt collector
