Called, left no message, presumed to be a telemarketer or scammer.  I'm on the do-not-call list so that only seems to be helping with the more honest end of the spectrum with these people.  I enter the number in my phone & ID it as "scammer" to insure that I never accidentally answer.

Calling with the old lower your interest rate. Woman  voice recording. I held on. Man answer with a heavy accent. Told the guy, I am on do not call. Plus, you are not an American and looking to steal ID and info. Call is out of Perkasie PA. Area code is 215.
SCAM WRITTEN ALL OVER IT.

The old Credit Card Services Scam...  They did the first line of their script and then hung up on me.
Obviously same scam calling from a new number.

Why theses idiots call is beyond me. If they were giving "free" money I would not take from [***]!

SSDD If I am in the mood to answer and wish to have some fun with them I start off my conversation by saying.....Hello? is this Mr or Mrs [***] calling??? If they reply by saying this is neither, then I tell them to google translate the name '[***]' and that they would be incorrect as it is their last name :-)

Claims to be from "cardholder services".  A scammer.  Ignore them.

I got the same call from Perkasie PA but area code was 267. I did not pick up.  I have an answering machine and call blocker (about $85 and every worth every penny) that allows wildcard blocking on area and exchange. I then quickly  blocked 267-828-xxxx. I have no doctors or friends/relatives there.  Answering and then telling them you are on Do Not Call is completely worthless as is blowing a loud horn.

David Gray says he has a warrent for your arrest due to serious criminal activity from the treasury dept. Police will be at my door today to take me away. Speaks w/Indian accent. Called my local police department after the call-they said they avg. 40 complaints a day about this scamming numnut

I stayed on the line and asked if they were calling from Chase..she replied yes, the number on the back of your card then asked me if I had a $2000 balance.  I then said that if she was from Chase, she would know my balance.  She told me to stop yelling (which I wasnt doing)...so I jsut talked over her till he hung up!  lol

The number calls almost every day. I do not answer it as it is probably a scam.

CAll from 267-828-0293 left no message at all when I blocked my number and called back it goes to a fax line. I'm guessing it was a marketing call or some other scam after reading the notes above.

Sparky, The Do Not Call Directory does a good job of blocking calls from legitimate telemarketers. The scumbags who spoof legitimate numbers don't give a sheeeeet about this Directory.
