    received a phishing email purportedly from Chase Bank, saying account was suspended until I call this number.......since when does Chase have a branch in Middleton, Michigan....???????

    I got the same message.  Obviously, this is a phishing e-mail.

    Account Suspended
    Date: 1/29/2008

    All Chase Bank accounts were recently update with a new security enhancement.

    For your security, we have temporary suspended your account.

    To activate your account please call the security department at 269-205-4219

      I got the same one and it is a FRAUD. AVOID at all time.

      Got the same thing and fell for it b/c we did just change some info on our accts.......cancelled cards after realizing. Do you think they can do anything with the pins or number if they are cancelled???? Thanks!!

    Got phishing email claiming to be from Chase saying account suspended.  Forwarded it to:  abuse@chase.com

    I received the same e-mail as above (Toledo)   it would be nice to get a real person on the other line or actually track where that call goes to. I'm sure the technology is there, but our government is more concerned with the $338 billion per year us taxpayers help fund illegals.

    I got an email, not a call and I put this number in Google, and up came your comments...banks won't contact you in this way. Even if it is fraud they suspect on your card, they will leave you an 800 # to call.

    Same thing, been getting these at my school email a few times now, from different banks...Chase, West Bend Savings, Fox Valley savings...
