My parents received a call this morning from John Barton, who told my father I had been recommended to the firm for employment. My dad passed on the information, giving me this number and the company name -- West Mac. He was pretty skeptical, as was I -- so I googled the information and found this site: Tada! How bogus.

ya i just got a call from "CHARYL" she told she wanted to know if i would come and see if i was right for the company whatever that means, she also called my parents house how do people get away with this stuff thank goodness for this website also here is the number that called me 269-342-5770 so be wary of this CHARYL!

Got a call from Brady from WestMAC, same place as all of these.  It sounded like a scam, but I figured I'd try it out.  I'm glad I found this site, now I don't have to waste my time.

Wow..I got this same exact phone call just now. I was skeptical and asked what exactly this company was called because initially he had just said "W.M.A.C." so naturally I thought..what the hell? The call was from "John Barton" and it was in the same place as you guys described. The number that showed up was 870-8074. He wanted to make an appointment right away and meet me tonight at 6:30. He kept saying it was a "professional business because they work out of an office" and he sounded like a kid, maybe 20. I told him I was really busy right now (being a Western student and having finals coming up and all) and I would call him back. I won't call him back now, unless it's to b***h at him for trying to trick us.

Well like most of you, i also beleave this is a scam, but they dont call me, im in the battle creek city, and iv gotten this sticker 2 times now and decied to search it its says

"SPRING FEVER If you have an extra 8 -12 hours per week and desire to earn an extra $800 - $1,000 a month, Contact: Jenna  At: 269-382-0375 Flexible Hours - No Experience Necessary - Will Train"

This is Symmetry Direct. They have different branch offices all over the State of Michigan and operate the exact same way.

The manager there is named Tim Woodcox, at the Kalamazoo office. I would suggest contacting him. He is listed on the BBB!!!

I recieved a call from a woman named Bianca.  She called from 269-382-2497.
Basicly everything stated in the other reports are exactly what she said to me.  I'm suppose to show up tomorrow at 1pm.  I just graduated from WMU so that must be where they got my info.

Just so that everyone knows, i chickened out on the interview, from the sound of it, it is a huge scam (i'm also a WMU Student).  I was going to reschedule for a different time, and the guy i talked to was pissed!!!! saying something about how he had to go to chicago that weekend, and that i needed to really try to come in that day.  I told him i wasn't interested anymore.  Anyone who gets pissed when you cancell an appointment isn't worth my time. How are they getting our numbers?  I thought that the school wasn't supposed give out our info.

i got a call from 269 381 4780-heather, west michigan advanced concepts.. no telling how she got my number..soo um plz do tell what happened..

People, they are getting your number from Alumni lists, any job sites that you are registered with and even referrals.

This company is NOT WMAC. It is Symmetry Direct. They are operating this way all over the United States, and it's really disappointing. They are a scam, there is no "interview" and this is not a job!

This website is VERY beneficial.. It's what I've created to benefit everyone who's been receiving these calls!

I was called last week and asked if I would like a full or part time job with the same supposed West Michigan Advanced Concepts.  The caller Jenna stated the same information as the previous posts. I also decided to search for the company and found nothing.  Especially since she said the Health and Wellness Direct Marketing Company has been around for 12 years, you would think there would be some available information.  As this is a scam, I found some more information on the Better Business Bureau website, and I found that the BBB has requested basic information from this company and has not received a response. They are not a BBB Accredited business... don't go to any interviews or else you will be scammed.

I recieved the first call from them in Dec/Jan.  I had never heard of them and when I looked them up I found nothing.  I work at a local hospital and could not believe that I wouldn't had heard of them through the work I do.  I never called them back and recieved a call from them again today, Heather.  I searched them today and came up with this site.  Thank you all for the information and now I know for sure it was just as a suspected, nothing.

This company is a base of Symmetry Direct.
Their business owner is Tim Woodcox, and he is also based out of the Grand Rapids office!

"Majestic Innovations" is another name that they are listed under.

Email TIM and let him know that you do not appreciate being harassed by his "employees"

I recieved a phone call from "Jenna." I never picked up and she left a voicemail saying she recently recieved my resume and is looking to fill part time full time positions, to call her back and set up an interview time.  When she said the company "West Michgian Advanced Concepts", that was when I had a sneaky suspicion the company was fake.  First off I never applied or heard of such a company,and secondly, how the hell did they get my resume let alone phone number?  This Barton kid is obviously a Western Student who has easy access to the student directory.  If they ever call again I would call the cops...what they are doing is illegal and should be stopped!

I received a call from Jenna asking if I was interested in a job.  She left a voice mail, but as soon as I saw the number I googled it and found this site.  Thanks for all the warnings, but I would like to hear from someone who actually went to the interview!  I'm not going to call back, but I'm just curious about what they have going on...

I have been to an "interview."
You go in and there is no reception area to speak of, and there are about 20 other well dressed people. You sign in, and people will come and grab others in the waiting area about 3 at a time, and sit you in front of a large white board, television, and vitamin products. They then have you watch an overhyped video from the 80's, and talk about a high roller way of life, and try to get you to drop $300 on products, and $300 on a weekend trip to Chicago on the spot.

It's not an interview, and this is NOT employment. And for the record: their products have no merit from the FDA
