Caller ID says Customer Service.  No idea what company.

Sounded like a scam to me.

Received 4 calls on 6/23 and so far 3 calls in the last 2 hours.

Quick! What's your number?! I bet I can beat that record!

Finally answered the phone to try to extract some information. Had spouses  name and last 4 of CC. Identified company as "Vista Marketing". He explained phone numbers where collected from partner companies that we ordered something from (TV or the internet) in the last 18 months. They were offering free "gas coupons" if I joined 2 "discount clubs". From past experience these are useless "clubs" that incur small monthly charges to your account hopefully small enough for you not to notice and not cancel.
they called almost once an hour all day. Calls from same outfit before seemed to be geared to get you to verify your card info and then get you to say the word "yes" (so it can be recorded if you deny agreeing to the charges)

Found out the same thing that Codeknowbi did.  These people talk so fast and when I said I did not agree with anything they hung up the phone on me.

Do not call me anymore!   Take me of your list of callers.

no message...just repeated auto calling

I had just experienced the EXACT same thing as codeknowbi, to the "T". When I called them back after getting concerned with some "recent order" that was placed, I got some girl trying to get me to sign up with some "discount clubs" and they would send me a gas card as a "free gift" for trying it. It was so loud where she was, I could barely make out what she was telling me. They had my Name, address and last 4 digits of my CC and wanted me to confirm my zip code. I said "yes" to something, and they wanted me to repeat my answer, (very clearly) probably so they could use it against me later. After I got off the phone, I got a bad feeling in my gut, so I called my CC company and they said they had no affiliation with that "Vista" company, and to them, sounded like a scam so I immediately canceled that same CC # that they had.

PESTS ! PESTS ,  IS what they are.  The only thing I remember ordering from was from AMERI MARK company. and I made the mistake of listing my land line number on the order form online. I bet I will make up a contact number from now on on any thing I order online or thru regular snail mail. I will come up with a "spoof" number the next time around.

Repeated calls from this number for the last 3 days.  I have answered twice, listened to part of the "speal" and told them just send me the damn coupons but I'm not agreeing to anything.  The calls continue to come so I am assuming they want me to listen to the "entire speal" and agree to something as previous posts said.  Isn't there a way to make this stop?

Got calls from this number every half hour. I continuously disconnected the call but they persisted in calling back. Eventually I answered the phone and a young lady identified herself as Stephanie proceeded to tell me she was calling about some gas vouchers. While I was trying to explain to her that I was not interested..she kept on talking...and although I was insisting that I was not interested she just hung up the phone insisting that my card will be charged a shipping charge of $2.95.

Had four calls from this number today...didn't answer, and they left no message.  Thanks for reporting this number.  I won't answer their calls.

They called 7 times yesterday and 3 so far today!! and it's only 10:41....

Folks, it is a sad, sad truth, but it is now legal for these jerks to buy the info that they have.  They can get your sposes name, and last four digits of your credit card number.  Anyone running a telemarketing firm can can buy the info.  It is not information protected by the government.  When you place an order with certain online companies, you will often see a screen that shows your credit card number's last four digits with the others blocked out as asterisks.  The telemarketing vultures are able to buy screen captures of this info.  How sick is that ???????  I wish we could get the government to put a stop to this......

My number is new and unlisted.  The only people I have given the new number to is Mor Furniture and Best Buy (and husband).  I have not answered when they have called and they have not left messages.  I have received 5+calls a day from them this past week.  Is it possible that one of the so named companies have sold my number?  If so...they suck for bothering me...get a real job you tele tubies a holes and stop harrassing me!  If I want or need something, I'll come to you!

Just got a call this morning.  I couldn't understand the name of the company after asking 3 times.  They advised they were not my bank, but knew my credit card # & wanted to verify my address to send me gas vouchers.  I refused & immediately called my bank to cancel my credit card.  This is ridiculous!  How in the world can it be legal to sell/give my information to anyone without my permission?!  If they got the card number & I verify my zip code, they can make purchases for anything.  Beware!

Just got my first call from this number.  Polite guy says "this is ___ Torres from Vista Marketing about your credit card ending in XXXX"  Hung up immediately.  How'd he get those cc numbers??

They have called me 3x's today and I haven't answered and next time they do call and I'm not sitting in court I will answer the call and give them a piece of my legal mind!

Same thing happened to me.  How did they get those last four number's right?  They did say that I made a recent purchase, which I did.  Their getting their info from somewhere.
