This number has been calling me non stop since this morning. I know no one from this area code. I blocked the previous number they had been calling me from and now this one shows up on my phone. Will it ever stop??

I picked up once, after they called about 5 times, they say you won something... scam

They said they were calling because I had used my Mastercard with them. I don't have a mastercard. Filthy, evil scammers. May they all die of slow stomach cancer.

This number has been calling my mother's cell phone nonstop since Friday. Scam scam scam.

Received a call at 5:33pm today. Guy said he was VISA, that he noticed I'd made a purchase lately and did I want to get $120 in gas rebates, that it would only cost me $2.95 shipping. I said I didn't use much gas, that I rode a scooter and bicycle and that also, I didn't really know who he was. I kept asking who he was and he'd slur something about VISA services and quickly go back to being shocked that I didn't want free gas, then basically hung up on me.

I have been receiving many calls from this number and they keep asking for someone else, I've already told them it's the wrong number.  When they called the third time I pretended to be the person they wanted and they said that person made a charge with their mastercard from Vista.  What the heck... you tell them it's the wrong number and they don't listen.

So this lady called and said she had a gas card I needed to redeem. I told her to go ahead and mail then. Then she said it was going to charge my card 2.99 which I said was fine. Then she asked me to check and make sure the last 4 numbers matched up. which they of course didnt. Then I told her she must have the wrong person (especially considering i only have debit card and its the same one i've had since high school). Then she asked me for a new credit card to charge to "update" her system (sketch). Basically after that I told her no and got off the phone she kept saying the company was VISTA rewarding me for past purchases

These freakin people call me on a daily basis and NEVER leave a message!! I spoke to them once and they tried to give me some stuff for using a credit card I don't even have. I told them they have the wrong person and they need to stop calling me ASAP and if they don't I would report them to the BBB, she just hung up on me. These people that work for "companies" like this must have no heart or soul, how in the world can you work for a place like this and try to scam people out of money?

Basically the same thing happened to me.  Someone from VISTA called and tried to convince me that I had earned some gas rebates and that they would send me the rebates along with other offers that I could use or not use, but if I used them it would be a $29.99 membership fee and that either way the gas rebates would be mine regardless of whether or not I joined the membership.  I said okay and she transferred me to some other person and I asked him which VISA had I used to have earned this and he gave the last four numbers of a card that I haven't used for years so didn't recognize the number and he said I had made a purchase with that card within the past 4 months.  I said well I don't have the card anymore and he said well that's okay you can give me any other VISA or Mastercard number....."AHA!!" I said, " So, that's the scam.I knew something like that was gonna happen." and then I told him, "No way am I going to give you credit card information over the phone." And he hung up on me. Luckily I kept my wits about me.  I can't stand to think of how this could so trick someone!!  Evil VISTA people!!

I must have got about 5 calls from this numer yesterday and today I received 3.  I finally picked up and a "quick" talking guy said something about free gas cards.  I was as quick to tell him to stop calling here and "quickly" hung the phone up.  I would advise the same.  Also, if you know of elderly people who may not have the internet or know about the do not call registry.  PLEASE HELP THEM!!!  They are the ones who are the most affected by these scams.  I am also reporting this number to the FBI fraud/identity theft unit....

I don't answer the calls, but curiously, I called them back.  The recorded message says "We are trying to confirm your address for your order, but don't worry, if we don't receive a phone call from you, we will still ship your order."  Ship away morons, it's a Federal Offense to scam people by mail so I HOPE you do.

They are making their rounds - called me about a Visa card and said I won $125 in gas certificates. I said I am rich and do not need free gas cards but to send them to my brother. He said "Uhhhh" and hung up on me. How can we report them to the police?

That is a great idea!  I've been getting calls from this number even as late as 10pm.  I may have to try your idea.

Go on-line and register this number with the Federal Trade Commission.

Make sure you list your telephone number in the do not call registry and if they do call you make sure you notify them to remove your name from their list. Try to obtain their name, business address. they called me once from South Dakota, I contacted the state police and gave them the phone number, then they were calling from other state, did the same thing.. planning to do the same to Michigan.  sooooo annoying, called twice in 1 hour.... they have nothing better to do.
