Some company, female caller, upper mid-western accent.  Get free home security system.  No company name.  Got the message on my answering machine with instructions to press "2" to to be taken off the list.  I'm quite sure my number would just be sold to some other [***], anonymous reseller to continue to bother everyone.  Reverse lookup shows a Kalamazoo MI number, but that's easy enough to spoof.  Wish I could find the rock they're hiding under.

Keeps calling my cell phone and hanging up after about 5 rings.  Garbage so don't pick up the call if it is from 269-477-2201 in Kalamazoo, Michigan

On a side note; I wish I could get a "Call Blocker Plus" for my cell phone. I saw it mentioned on this site in a different number's forum. It works great. No more calls getting through the land line unless they are on my list of allowed numbers. I am in no way affiliated with the company, just love their work! Every time I see the list of numbers it hung up on, I just smile. Robo-dialer meet Robo-hang up, LOL!

After 4 or 5 rings they hung up leaving no message.  Over the years I have learned not to answer calls from numbers I do not recognize thereby saving myself from a lot of needless irritation.  All my friends know that if they are calling me from a strange number that I will not answer and therefore they must leave a voice-mail telling me who is calling -- then I will call them back right away.  It's a system that works pretty well for me.   (For what it's worth, I don't know anybody in Kalamazoo -- in fact, I haven't known anyone living in Michigan for many years now.)

Called my cell phone, waking me up. Just for that, they got to be the second number to go into my block list!

Out of state number (Kalamazoo), didn't pick up, no voicemail. I get a lot of calls like this ever since I signed up for an online temp agency. That was a scam too, but at least I haven't lost any money, just annoyed by telemarketers.

Try downloading the app Extreme Call Blocker. I've been using it for years and it is the best thing I've found out here. There's a 1 time fee of like $5 but the app is yours for life and is downloadable on multiple devices. The developer's response to questions is very quick. You can also block mms/ sms etc. A lot comes with this power packed app. Hope this helps.
