Just got called at 10:08 A.M Texas, rang once and hung up. No relatives from MI

Friday June 6, 2008.  About 1:00 P.M.

Got a call on my celluar in Houston, TX.

One ring only.  Call back unsuccesful.

I've been getting weird calls lately.  This is the first time I received one from this particular number.  I'm in Houston, too.  I tried to call back, but nothing happens on the other end.

I just got a call from 1-269-768-2092 on my cell and 1:43 today. It rang once. I tried to call back but it would not go through....I am in Northwest Houston.

when i tried to call back, my phone couldn't dial..

Around 2:23 on 6/6//08 this number (269-768-2092) called my phone, left no message.  Couldn't get the phone to dial when I tried to call back.  I too have a Houston Cell phone.

Near the houston area, 281 area code. Recieved the call the past 2 days at 1:49.

Yeah, I just got a call at 4:49 PM, same situation, one ring, hang up - when calling back, it connects, then disconnects before it even manages to ring once....

I live in Houston, Texas and recieved a call from this number at 1:17 pm.  Today's date is 6/6/08.  My cell phone rang once, and as I went to answer the call, they hung up, no voice mail recieved.

Anyone else find this really creepy?

It seems we folks in Houston are being hit hard by this problem.

Se my two previous posts (of June 5) earlier in this thread and the one from  poster JBSR on June 6 for en explanation on what is happening, who is responsible and what to do about this to put a stop to it.

Only if enough of us file a report with the Texas Attorney's General office will these annoying calls stop.

For what it's worth, I'm reposting this from another complaint site.  This information should also be included in the report to the Texas AG office.

I ran a whois on the domain usavoters.org
the registrant is Prince Uchendu.
I did some additional digging and came up with this

I still think its a problem of a badly programed auto-dilaer rather than intentional mischief.
