POS Dish Network automated message.  I'd just like to find out where they got my cell number from.  I've kept the number secret except for family and close friends just so I wouldn't have to put up with this kind of crap.  If AT&T is making extra bucks by selling cell phone numbers for extra bucks, they're looking for trouble.  I'm about to compose a nasty e-mail to their site.

caller ID says inbound,called ,press 1 to be removed from their list but still keep calling.

A mere one hour after activating my new number, a call comes in from 1-269-768-2170, apparently a sniffer for a marketing company.  Didn't take long.

I am in Michigan.
I was wondered the same thing about ATT because I just went back to a landline phone about a month ago, with a new unlisted number. I have given it to 3 close friends and my Dr. so far. No credit card companies.
They also knew my name. It was for Satellite. I listened and then pushed number to delete my number off their list. So they say.....
I might also write a note to the ATT site or call them. Quite suspicious to me. Seems I have gotten more sales calls in this month than I ever had before.

annoying calls in the morning.

i get a call from this number hung up,i am tired of all this crap phone call THE CALLER ID SHOW CALL 269-768-2170 OR 269-678-2108 CALLER SHOW TWO GUYS WHO IS THIS PERSON I AM TIRED OF THIS CALLS.

got a call even though I am on the do not call list.  Did not pick up, because I didn;t recognize the number.  I have a prepaid phone and they still call!  Looked up number on Google and found you.  They are from Bellevue MI according to reverse number on superpages directory lookup.

I got a half message from this number. something about my warrenty about to expire. I tried calling back today about 5:50pm on a staurday and this is what I got:

we are unbable to complete your call at this time. Please try again later. message 12 switch 540

If this was a true business it should identify who they are.

I did a trace as it went to my voice mail, it was the Dish satelite company!
Got it stopped on Our home phone, now we have to do the cell phone too! UGH

I just receive a call from this number, but I didn't answer and they didn't leave a message.

Same call from the 269 768 2170 number but when I answered, no one responded. Meh.

these idiots are annoying.  can't they be stopped???
I thought the new DO NOT CALL LIST  is intended to keep these calls from happening.

I keep getting phone calls from this number too.

Register to be on the "Do Not Call" list at www.donotcall.gov
It takes 31 days, but after that time, if you continue to receive these phone calls, then you can file a complaint.

Have no idea what it was for was not home at the time, but when i get weird numbers like that i like to look them and see what they are. and this was the first search that came up, thanx for the info on who it is:)

Got this call at 8:51pm central us time. Did not answer and they left no message...if your going to take the time to have something call, at least take the time to leave a short message...

This number calls at all hours several times a day. It seems they know when I am trying to get my kids to bed, they called 3 times in 2 hours from 7-9pm.  It is so annoying I have taken to turning off my ringer at about suppertime and leaving it off untill 10pm.

Same nonsense as this number, 517-931-2512 which harassed my mobile for weeks, along w/other numbers from same marketing service. For the past 3 months I have been receiving calls from random numbers/area codes I've never recognized. I google number only to discover the same type of info - telesales. And if you call the number back, it's the same automated message, "to be removed... or hold for a sales rep". so clearly someone has sold our numbers to a marketing service! I'm going to start a database of all of these numbers for tracking because there have been about 15 that have called in the past 3 months, and I only have the 517 number because it's still in my caller ID.

I got a missed call from this number and they did not leave a message.
