I've been getting calls from this number for two weeks now. They don't leave messages and when I do answer there is no one on the other end. Just dead air. I called the number back and a man told me that they have nothing to do with the calls!

I have been getting repeated phone calls from this number for the past three weeks now. This number calls me in the morning, afternoon and even in the evening, Monday thru Sunday several times throughout a single day. I've attempted to answer the calls a few times. Each and every time I answered, nobody was on the other end. It seems like it's a dead line or a prank caller who perhaps has the phone on "mute."  It's annoying!

received calls at 3:04pm, 2:06, 2:05, 1:35, 1:04 on monday and on a SUNDAY enjoying my anniversary got calls at 6:15 and 5:12pm.  they didn't pick up most of the time and when they did they asked for my wife and then disconnected.

I received a call from an "unavailable" number first then ten minutes later I got a call from this number.  They don't leave a message and I'm not callin them back.  My credit record is spotless,so if they are a credit collection service, they have the wrong person.

They keep doing the same thing to us. They call morning noon and night and never say anything at all. really annoying.

Several calls througout the day.  A computer voice asks for a person with a similar last name as mine and gives 3 options to press.  None of these take you to a person who can stop these annoying calls.

I just received a call from this number on my mobile phone.  I didn't recognize the number, so I googled it.  This website was what I found.  They called after an unavailable number called.  I have no idea how they got this number either.

Same things happened to me for the past 7 days. It's very very annoying!

I posted on 2/27/07 about this number calling me.  After several days of numerous calls per day, I finally heard a real person on the other end of the line.  I told him his company had the wrong number and for him to remove the number from his contact list.  More calls from the same number came but only a recording was on the other end.  Last night, another real person was there asking for the same person the first guy had asked for.  I told him (again) wrong number, no one here by that number, please make a note of it and remove my number from their contact list.  Then today, another call -I was not very nice this time!  The woman said she was with Encore. I spoke to a manager and he said my number would be removed from their calling list.  Since my number is, and has been for a while, on the DO NOT CALL list, I filed a complaint by going to the DO NOT CALL LIST website.  I hope they get fined big time!  If I'm contacted by the DNCL people about my complaint, I'm going to give them the whole list of dates and times that this company has called my number!!!  It's irrating enough for a computer to keep calling me over and over, but for me to tell two different callers from their company that they were to remove my number from their list and not call me anymore and it not be taken care of - IT'S BEYOND IRRITATION!  THREE STRIKES THEY'RE OUT!!!!

I called this number - Encore Receivable answered - they say my number was listed under someone else's name... and my # will be removed from their list. I'm also going to report them to the Do Not Call List website.  I really hope they stop calling me, it's only been going on three days now, and I'm already fed up.  

They have been calling me for at least a month. I RARELY get a real person on the other end, and when the automated answer person leaves a message, they never say what its about. The calls start at 8am and stop around 9pm...highly annoying. When i do get a real person, they ask for my husband, when I say he is not available, they hang up immediately before I can ask what the call is pertaining too.
