We have received calls from this number continuously for the past week.  They call every 10 minutes for a few hours at a time morning noon and late evening.  There is no one on the other end and the call disconnects.  Very Annoying indeed.

I too have kept getting calls, and what is worse, it is on my cell phone, same number as everyone else. I also happened to be overseas in Eurpoe where Tmobile also has international service at .99 cents a minute. I took my phone just incase of family emergencies but picked up once I saw the same number calling repeatedly 4 or 5 times in a row. I picked up, said hello and no one answered back, I hung up around 10 seconds later, only to be called again from the same number a few minutes later.

My phone is on the federal do not call list as of 2 years ago, and I also filed a complaint at the site, as we all should do.

If you have a cell phone, many like mine, a RAZR phone, you can add the caller to your address book, and then set the ringer ID to silent when they call, that way, it goes straight into your voicemail without you ever hearing the phone go off at all. You will be told that you missed a call though, at least with my phone, but it isn't a big deal, and they hopefully are spending alot in longdistance to reach my cell phone. Unless they are using VOIP that is.

This is a Debt Collection Agency and they call us about 4 times a day every 2-3 hours all week. I'm no annoyed and originally went through a Debt Settlement company for the account they call us on but refuse to do any business with the people we refer them to.
Threaten to sue if they continue to call.

The legal name of this company is Encore Receivable Management, Inc. If you go to www.encorermi.com you will find their website. It states they are a subsidiary of Convergys a Fortune 500 company. I found the name of Teresa Williams in the Legal Department of Convergys, the Parent company. Her tel is 888-284-9900. Just ask for her when the operator answers. You will be sent to a voicemail. I left a message. I am sure if she gets enough voicemails...she may want to stop. At Encore Rec Mgt I found the name of Joe Chad and left the same message about dont call, etc and all the harrassment. Their number is 877-213-1160. We need to be calling them and see how they like it! My next step tomorrow if I do not hear from someone is to call the State Attorney Generals Office of my State and report them.

I receive calls from this number every day at 5:15PM primarily but have had the calls come in also at various times.  Called the number back and got a woman named Kim.  She told me that this was not her number - in fact - her cell phone that it came inot was a 708 area code.  She said that several people have called her screaming at her - I did not.  I'm still trying to track it down and can't wait to get a real person from that company.  Thanks to all for some needed info to further track this.

I just called the 269-820-0940 and was transferred to a person named Mary who has assured me she will be taking my number off their call list...I am giving them a couple of days...My next step is reporting to Texas State Attorney...

I do not now who these people are but are constanly calling me...anytime in the day or night. This has to stop and hope they get penalized for harrassing people. They repeated call and no one is there.

We are getting the same phone calls 10 times a day asking for someone who isn't us.  I asked the lady Mary on the other end to take us off the list and she hung up on me.  We are on the do not call registry and will be filing a complaint.

I've been receiving calls from this same number also. It is from a collection agency known as Capital Management Services.

It's uncanny how they called me right after I've hung up from another phone call, trying to collect from me for some anonymous account that has nothing to do with me. I managed to get a live person, who spoke with an Eastern accent, as I managed to get the name of the company from him.

I GOOGLED Capital Management Services and am in the process of sending them a formal letter requesting that they cease calling my home number.

Somehow I wonder if my number was sold in bulk to them (by my service provider) and their calls of harassment are a result of this.

I also suggest complaining to your State's Attorney General of this practice.

I have been receiving calls from 269-820-0940 for the past 2.5 weeks also and I just pick up and hang up on the person- and what tops it all off is they are calling my FAX LINE and they STILL didn't get the clue to stop calling when the fax machine began screeching in their ear!!! So I just called them back and told them my phone # and demanded them to take me off their call list. Here's the kicker!!! : I asked what type of business it was and the gentleman told me 'ENCORE MANAGEMENT' I asked what TYPE of business and he proceeded to explain that "He couldn't give me that information due to the fact that if I wasn't the person that they were looking for it would be a violation of privacy for the person they ARE looking for by telling me the type of business it was" (WHAT THE F*&^)???? I then responded that that is not logical, the TYPE of business isn't PERSONAL information, it is a matter of PUBLIC INFORMATION and it is PUBLIC RIGHT for consumers to know what type of business is calling their home- its just NOT LOGICAL the explaination given by the 'rep' that I spoke to. I then told him that if someone calls the business and asks what TYPE of business it isnt giving out personal information about any particular account (if you will) its simply revealing the TYPE of company /business they conduct. We went around this issue 2 or 3 times then I thanked him for taking me off his call list and hung up. I called and *67(blocked) my # from a different phone and hopefull these annoying calls will stop coming to my FAX PHONE no less!!!! I pray that his helps other people find a solution to this annoying problem- Just call them and sound really annoyed and let them know it is disturbing- OBVIOUSLY if they don't want to divulge they type of business they conduct its something ILLEGAL or IMORRAL that they are trying to do to scam people. receive calls several times per hour from the following number, I know no one with this number

Same thing as the rest of you have said, I get calls several times a day. Either from ERMI, or an unknown caller from 269-820-0940.  I am also on the DNC list.  What's the sense in being on the list if no one does anything about it?

I've been getting repeated phone calls from this number for 2 days. No one leave message. I've attempted to answer the calls but nobody was on the other end, no respond at all and everytime they call is around 8:00pm. It's very scary knowing someone have your phone number and no information is provided. In my caller ID appears "ERMI".. who or what is it....????

Calls 5 to six times daily, as well as Sundays. I thought those types of calls should only happen on weekdays.

this number is my house and someone keeps calling for my girlfriend who doesnt live here. second, they dont leave a message telling me who they are, im not going to give  a message if i dont know who you are and she is certainly not calling back if she doesnt know who you are. most important,she does not live here anymore!!!

they call all day and night and its a computer talking. I just hang up.  Is there a way to stop these?
