I voiced my complaints to the FCC and the FTC today.

These people have been calling for the last 3-4 months, anywhere from 5-10 times a day, asking for a name that is like my husbands, just a different middle initial. They hang up when I ask what the message is. The rest of the time its an automated service. We do have a card behind on its payment, but even when we do get caught up the calls never stop coming. They never give me time to say its the wrong person, they just hang up on me. I have reported it to the DNC list, and still they don't let up. 8am-10pm...never-ending. Know any free lawyers lol

They call every day, at least 4 to 6 times a day . We have caller id so we don't answer,but it is very annoying. no message is ever left.

I have also been a victim of these calls.  Apparently they are a collection company based in Michigan.  Very harrassing.  They call me 3 to 4 times a day, everyday including weekends and all hours of the day.  I asked them several times to cease and desist which by law they must do if they are calling a business number.  I finally tracked them down to Three Oaks, MI.  I contacted the Three Oaks Police department and reported them.  They had an officer contact them and initially the calls kept coming in.  I live in Colorado and I did the same here.  The police locally called them as well.  Now the calls have stopped.  What they are doing violates Fair Credit Collection laws in just about every state in the US.  By reporting them to the local police in Michigan, they keep a record of the complaints against them.  At the time only a few calls had been made to the Police but they explained that if it becomes nusance, they will take the matter further with them.  If they harrass you, call the Three Oaks Police department.  It is a small town and they don't like it.

This phone number keeps calling my cell phone.  Leaves no messages and calls several times a day!

Fortunately, I am never home when the calls come in.  If it is a collection company - and it usually is - try pressing 0 - it is not usually one of those options they give you. You can usually make the calls stop if you get nasty enough and ask for a supervisor, but they will start again.  Bill collectors resell the lists. With each sale the list gets cheaper and the bounty gets higher.  If you tell them you are on the DNC and you have caller ID and will be reporting them to the Attorney General.  It helped last time.

I keep getting calls from this number. They leave no message.

So I looked up the #, and I found that this person is in Allegan County in Michigan. I would very much like for this person or persons to please stop with the harrassing calls. I'm having the same problem as all the persons above, repeated calls during the day with no one on the line when I (or my wife) get annoyed enough to even answer the damned call.  I'm going to email them, their main company, and the California Attorney General if it doesn't stop after that.  I owe no past due debts, though my grandson who lives with us does.

This is to notify you that you are to no longer call (916) 971-9696 (which is on the do not call federal list) or I will take all appropriate steps not only to stop you, at least in the State of California by filing a complaint with the California Attorney General, I will also file a $5,000 small claims court action against you and your parent company for and to stop the baseless harassment.  I have no past due bills whatsoever, certainly no collection letters from any creditor, and am unaware of how you even have my phone number.  The only reason I was able to find your address, and that of your parent company, was by going to Google and entering your phone number, 269-820-0940, where I found a website with many others (who have to be the tip of the iceberg) who are receiving the same repeated harassing phone calls during the day (anywhere from five to ten) where when you pick up the phone you find on one on the other end the majority of the time, or them asking for someone whom you don’t know and hanging up when you ask them what the call is about.  Although we finally stopped picking up the phone, the repeated damned phone call at all hours of the day are more than just annoying.

I would suggest that the parent company go to the site to review your tactics.

By copy of this demand to the California Attorney General I am making them aware of your existence and your repeated violations of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and my intention to file a formal complaint absent immediate cessation of the harassing calls.

they call all day on my phone and my brothers phone in the same house. they will call me and when i dont answer, not 1 second later my brothers phone will ring. it annoying a nd strange. who are these people?

I have been getting calls every hour on the hour from 8am to 9pm.  I have searched google, yellow pages and cannot identify this number.  It has become harassment.  The company is attemting to contact the previous resident who lived here before me.  Every time I attempt to call the number back to let them know that the person they are trying to reach no longer lives here, i get disconnected.
I wish there was a way they can be reprimanded for this.  It is harassment.

ERMI called my number about 25 times on 3/9.  I yelled at some woman that night to stop calling.  They called again about 30 times on 3/10.  I yelled at some guy that night to stop calling.  They called again a couple of times so far on 3/11.  Each time they ask for a Gary Amato (I don't know who that is).  I called my state's attorney's general office this morning to let them know.  I found the companies web site at http://www.encorermi.com/ and called them 5 times this morning at 877-213-1160 before I got a hold of someone that could help.  Her name is Dawn Burgess.  She said if they call again to call her and let her know.  I'm leaving these details to help other people in the same situation as I see there are a lot of people here complaining about this number.

Oh my,,, it is good to know that I am not the only one that receives 9-10 phone calls a day from this company.. lol
It is driving me nuts!  I just reported to DNCR.  Hope this would help a little bit.

I have been receiving calls from the following number for weeks now....several times a day....it is extremely annoying!!!....please try to do something about this....I am not the only one....there are lots of people receiving these same calls....I do not answer such calls from my caller ID
