Just rec'd call from this number, no message left. I don't know a soul in Hickman, Kentucky.

This is a fund raising "firm", which is exempt from the DNC and can continue to harass us as they want.

I get multiple calls, daily, from these 270 numbers - only the number showing in Caller ID, and never leave a message. Might have to block the whole area code. Really annoying.

Many calls, so answered one time-nothing was said, so I hung up.

Hickman KY? Makes a lot of sense. That is the area near what is known as "Fancy Farm," a Democratic
political event. I live in KY of my life and these methods are typical of Democratic harassment in this
state. This is why they have dominated state politics. I am 65 and there have been only 3 Republican governors in my lifetime.

Called requesting donations for Republican Party. Wanted CC info or bank acct routing # and acct. # over phone. Caller hung up after I inferred it was a scam.

This number just called my landline - I did not pick up, no message was left.

... and it just called again - this time with "TIPTONVILLE KY" in the caller ID. I did not pick up, no message was left.

( I can do this all day, every day, scammers. You shall not pass. :P )

... and called again, suppertime on the day after Thanksgiving. Only the phone number in caller ID, we did not pick up and no message was left.
Low-lives. I really need to get my phone blocker set up, hehe.

As far as I am concerned, fund-raisers are as good as scams. We do not donate anything to anyone who calls us via the telephone.

And it called yet again... why does Time Warner Cable only allow 30 blocked numbers... had to remove one to finally block this one.

I have received at least 4 calls from this # THIS month alone. I don't answer but they keep calling. If someone could find a surefire way to stop these idiots they would make a fortune & do the world a great service!

Caller ID showed "Tiptonville KY", area code is in Western KY.  Will be blocked or forwarded to a dead number.

Called again today.  I have TWC (now Spectrum) and I can block an unlimited number of callers, even entire area codes.  I use "Voicezone Enhanced" got it from a programmer in California, he has a website, free program easy to set up, unlimited features.  Wish it worked on cell phones also.  Works only on TWC home phone.

Called again today, one short ring and it was transferred to dead number.

Called again on 6/3/2017 at 8:39 PM.  TWC (Spectrum) VZE has stopped working, but still only one ring.  Probably intercepted by the national call blocking service.

What national call blocking service? If you mean the national Do Not Call registry,  that isn't a blocking service but a list legitimate telemarketers follow so they aren't calling people who don't want to receive their calls.
If you're referring to something else, please share verifiable evidence on this "national call blocking service" so others can benefit from it.

This number along with the other numbers listed below belongs to a company called MDS Communications and these are just the ones I have complied up to this point.  They “say” they raise money for other companies but they have a sorted and shady history and keep the lion’s share of the money that is raised.  They will also use the same number but spoof the caller ID to show a variety cities or businesses.  That alone is not honest and makes them a scammer.  As soon as I block one number, they pop-up with a new one, it’s a constant game of Whack-A-Mole.

In 2013, . . . . MDS Communications Corp. . . . raised $12.4 million and kept $7.5 million. The company is based in Arizona and is considered one of the five largest fundraising companies in the U.S. . . . BEWARE!
