"American Direct" on CallerID.

I don't know of any "America Direct". Please block

Based on the npa/nxx the "American Direct" that's been calling me is this sweatshop:

I got a call today from American Direct, 270-753-9024.  Left no message.  I looked it up on Google and found this site, so I'm reporting it.

Called from 270-753-9024 with Caller ID only showing "Murray, KY".  Reported to be American Direct calling to mail materials for a "Ford truck giveway contest."  Will ask your name and address to mail materials.

Did not leave message.  I am on the "Do Not Call" list.

Got a call at 7:30 PM on 2/19/2008, did not leave a message.

Got a call this morning at 9:00 a.m. Checked *69 and found that I had rec'd a call from this number. Since I didn't recognize it I googled it and got  his site. They did not leave a voice mail. We are on the do not call list! I never answer my land line any more. I just *69 and if it is a number I recognize I call them back. My family calls me on my cell. We just got so sick of telemarketers calling! Now, even on the do not call list we still get these calls!

Got a call from American Direct 270-753-9024.  Offering a "key".  Stopped them before they got any further and advised them that I am on the National Do Not Call list.  They said they "don't have to comply with that since they are not offering to sell you anything" only offering to send you materials in the mail.  Ya, right.  Spoke to a Manager, Keith Brown.  To him to remove my number from his list and that I was complaining to FTC about them.  He said that they were using a "loop hole" in the law.  Clever.

this company is called american direct.  they are a factory direct furniture company with a catalog and showrooms in cinci and colubus OH and austin TX.  They call to invite you to the showroom and send a catalog.  ask them to remove you from their calling list.  they are very nice about it.  also, if you are on the ' national do not call list' file a complaint.

Received a call from 1-270-753-9024.I googled it and it came up as American Direct.I am on the "Do Not Call List".Do they realize that they make people mad with their loop hole tactics and I would never do business with a company such as this.

On 4/24 my 6 year old daughter answered a phone call from this outfit and they hung up on her.

They call here two to three times a day and if I answer no-one is there.  It's becoming very annoying, and I am on the National Do Not Call list.

# number was on my caller id. no message was left. found out it was a company in KY called "American Direct" I'm on the "Do Not Call List" and I'm fed up with companies that use this loophole to annoy people. I refuse to ever do business with companies that use telemarketing.

I am on the Do Not Call list and get calls from 270-753-9024, caller ID American Direct often - they hang up if I answer. SERIOUSLY ANNOYING!!!!!!

RIght in middle of dinner with family we were graced with a call from American Direct.  They were willing to stay on the line for a full 15 minutes while they told me about their factory direct warehouse with only American products.  The nice phone worker was undeterred when I mentioned I do not buy anything American.  She also was very helpful as I asked about any American porn they sell and all the different varieties of porn they produce in America.

The lady who called me said that they were allowed to call the do not call list because they are not selling anything - only offering to enter us in a contest and send a catalog.  I asked to be removed (which seemed to confused her) and then promptly reported them on the fcc site.

Called right during dinner.  Said that American Direct was celebrating its 2-year anniversary and they wanted to enter me into a contest.  They also claimed they weren't selling anything.  All they needed was my name and address.  I said I wasn't interested and hung up.  Then I found this site, and the links for the FCC and filed my complaint!  Yee-haw for grassroots complaints!
