    Please stop calling me!
They called me too but didn't leave a message.  And the caller ID didn't show a location, which always makes me suspicious.

Looks like they have changed tactics.  They are now calling from area codes that don't exist anywhere.

This is why I block all area codes excluding the ones I expect to receive calls on. There is some sense of gratification having blocked all the area codes I'm not using. Specially when their robo-dialer calls 17 times in 3min. Too bad I don't have an application that could get it stay connected and tie up their line longer.

    Futuretech  Financial  - David Pippin.

David suggested in the thread below that a company he hired could have been responsible for some these robo-calls. Despite having paid them to do this, his company isn't legally liable for the actions of others on his behalf. David has been in the "fix your credit" business for awhile. He's appears to have enhanced his web image to appear legit and legal. If you want to see his old snake oil website use web.archive.org  for MYCREDITRECOVERY.COM, its a fun read.

Just because David Pippin says, "his company isn't legally liable for the actions of others on his behalf", doesn't mean he is not liable for those actions.

If he hired a company for robo-calls there is a reasonable expectation that they were working in Futuretech  Financial's interest and representing Futuretech  Financial as a result of a contract. Futuretech  Financial and the robo-call company can be brought to court in a civil suit (Harassment and Intentional Infliction of Emotional Distress), if not a criminal suit. Based on a nationwide investigation it is possible, Futuretech  Financial/David Pippin, knowing and willingly engaged in harassment for financial benefit. Even if the court were to not get any money out of him, he would still be on the hook for legal representation (hiring an attorney). If he doesn't respond the people would get a default judgement against him and the companies (Including all his known affiliated companies and aliases).

I was being sarcastic by posting that ( I know it's hard to read that sometimes). As noted in my other 800notes post I have very little compassion for Mr. Pippin and the organization he heads. When an organization hires another one to work on their behalf, they are completely on the hook for the actions that 3rd party takes. Which is why vendors for many financial corporations must go through a vetting process (aka vendor management).

A site note it appears Mr. Pippin has a colorful history with the department of Corrections in Florida.

Granted some of these charges are quite old, and certainly someone can turn over a new leaf. But as Mr. Pippin states on his website :

"We suggest that you ask these questions when considering a credit consulting firm or credit restoration company:

First, who is the founder of that company, and what are his/her background, experience, and accomplishments in the credit and debt collection industry?"

Mr. Pippin you have insight beyond your years. Indeed, we should know who the founder of a organization is and his/her background.

    Dirty Doggg
Rachel from cardholder services scam.  I pressed 1 to talk to a scammer and it disconnected.  You'd think they'd get a little smart: if all I did was verbally abuse them the last ten times they called me, why do they think they're going to have any different results any later time?

    Trash Talker
I love to answer this calls. Last three calls when answer I even do not get any recorded message to dial 1 or subject of call and call get disconnected. They now aware of my question to them from my phone number. I ask all the time what is their rate to have SEX in their rear? If they continue is more fun to give more trash. This is one way to treat this LOW LIFE.  Figure out something like this and you may get hung up calls.

The only issue i have is that they also spoof numbers using my local area code and the numbers look similar to my own.  Heck, they even set it up for my OWN number to pop up in caller ID.   Something has to be done, either that or our Government is in on all this.  This has been going on for years with this credit card scam.
