Left a message on my voicemail at work. A woman's voice speaking in a foreign language - French maybe?

A guy with an Indian accent called the office three times asking for different person each time. It sounded like he was calling from a call center. He claimed to be from IBM and wanted to talk to the people about the future of IT. Each time I said they were unavailable, he hung up and called back seconds later from the same number. My job requires me to pick up the phone every time it rings so I didn't have a choice here.  Had our IT guy block the number, but I'm expecting more calls of this nature from other numbers.

A man with a heavy accent called asking for our supply chain manager.  I asked what he was calling in regard to, and he said VOIP.  I let him know that our supply chain manager would not be the person to speak to about VOIP.  He insisted that he speak to the supply chain manager. When I again let the caller know that our supply chain manager would not be the person to make decisions about VOIP, he said "Thank you" and hung up.

Indian "business call' on behalf of Cisco. Yeah right dude. I put these people on hold and leave them there.

Same as above.  Indian "business call".  This time was calling about Citrix.  Knew my name, title, and email.  Trying to verify info to send about product.  Don't even work in IT.  Hung up.

Had these calls not only from Virgina but also Rhode Island and Pennsylvania. All of the people who called had a strong accent (mostly indian) and wanted to speak to our IT-Manager and when I asked them what it was about they could never repeat it. When I tell them that our IT-Manager is not available they just say mhm.. and hang up.

Heavily accented caller started going down a list of people's names. When I asked who was calling, she hung up.

These calls always come up with the "City name    ST" format. Ex: Wytheville   VA, Buffalo   WY, etc. They are ALWAYS this company asking for someone they think is in IT. I just transfer them to our general desk or VM. They say it's for the "white pages" or "informative document" (with no "s").

FAKE caller - states that he just called in and was on hold for a long time for ********.  Checked the phone as to why - Saw the 800NOTES.com info and put 2 and 2 together - SPAM caller!  Transferred him back into the neverending que!

I got a call from this number and recognized the details of the call as it was similar to another number that called three times asking for the same as above.  I just hang up on them now.

If you call the number back it is not in service.  Phishing call.

I picked up the phone, calmly said "No" and then slammed the handset down so hard I broke the phone.

Some guy phishing... Damn telemarketers!
