I got a call from 281-393-7036 on January 19, 2016 at 6:16 pm.  The caller did not leave a message even though my answering machine was on.  My caller ID said, "Out of area," which almost always means a telemarketing call.  Don't all legitimate businesses use their real name for their ID?  I would think so.

Didn't answer. Left no message

It's a harassing caller from India who calls nonstop trying to sell viagra to me even though I've asked them to stop for years.

Just received a call from this number - Feb. 12/16.   It pulsed out Liverpool, TX on the caller ID.  Guess they weren't getting anyway when it said "out of area" so they changed it.   I answered but did not speak....a male voice kept saying "hello" until he finally hung up.   It is some sort of telemarketer.   Given the time of year I'd say voter poll, but this number was being used prior to most of the polling.  Thus, probably a scammer of some sort.

Guy sounds like he is from India. Says he is from Online pharmacy and keeps calling and harassing me. I have been on the national do not call list and the company refuses to stop calling even when I tell them to stop or tell them I am on the do not call registry.

The DNC list applies to legitimate, participating telemarketers. Telecriminals (like these), do not follow it or any other laws.

Called my do-not-call listed private work-related phone in the evening.
Seems from comments it's not GoogleAds (constant callers!) but possibly India's Online Pharmacy. (What a world)
Agreed, sleazy criminals and scammers (as well as run of the mill foreign or domestic sales calls) don't care about "do not call" or law.
Best to do IMHO: Block, report to CFPB, and support the petitions to make telcos deploy existing technology to stop robo- and spoofed calls.

Repeated calls, despite Do-not-call etc. Reporting to CFPB, always good to do (as they are maybe the only actually-working-for-consumers agency left, and doing good things). Also, sign(ed) the petition with Consumerreports.org to the telecoms, who can easily block robocalls and spoofed CID's but choose not to (either charging for a measly few blocks or saying they don't have they authority, which FTC recently said they clearly do.) We must have the telcos deploy existing technology to stop the bombardment, whether or not they actually pursue the criminals (who are often abroad). What a nuisance!

Heavy Indian accent from "U.S. Pharmacy"  says he noticed I take Cialis, and how is it working out?  I told him he would have no way of knowing what I take (doesn't include Cialis) and to never call again.  He said "F*** You Sir!" and hung up.  Pretty bad when these scumbags not only try to scam people, but use vulgarity when they don't succeed.

call came up on phone "Liverpool, Tx"  The Indian telemarketer wanted to sell me painkillers at low prices.  I hung up.

I got my fourth call from 281-393-7036 on March 26, 2016 at 1:21 pm.  Same as before - the caller did not leave a message.  My caller ID said, "Out of area," which doesn't fool anybody. It's a telemarketer.  No surprise there.  Don't these people ever get a clue?  If you don't answer the phone it means you don't want to buy anything, but they keep calling.   I have been on the federal Do Not Call list for over ten years.
