E-mail: econsumerwb@ftc.gov - jeffrey m williamsI keep getting calls form u.s. pharmacy. They refuse to stop and it's getting tiresome. I ordered form a Canadian pharmacy once. The "meds" I got were expired re-packaged in India and they near killed me.

- st0rmchaser replies to FreedomkeeprI've worked in IT and telecom, and it's very easy to spoof caller ID. I have no doubt these idiots are offshore and safely aware of US prosecution. They don't care which of our laws they break, including those of the FDA and DEA. Buy at your own risk.
- I'm Not MaryA man with a heavy accent keeps calling my office asking for "Mary." After the 4th call, I finally said, "Yes, this is Mary. How can I help you?" The creepy fella then proceeded to tell me that I've ordered perscriptions from them before and asked me how the drugs were doing. Had I not been at work and in the middle of my office, I would have had fun with the idiot. I certainly wanted to tell him he sounded like he was on drugs and that it wasn't going well. Instead, I said, "Look, Roger (this time I asked his name and this is the name he gave), I'm NOT Mary! Quit calling me!" He then muttered, "oh" and hung up. I'm sure he will be calling back in the next day or so.

- CharlesI have actually ordered from overseas pharmacies several times in years past and got a generic, but cheap variety of drugs. But... The last time, my card got scammed and I quit using them. Now.. they obviously sold my number as a regular buyer, so I get about ten calls a day from different numbers. I have to use a call blocker and it is a pain.
If I still needed the meds, I might would use them, but it is like playing Russian roulette.
US pharmacies overcharge and play games and if I ever need something expensive, I will use them again.. Canadian pharmacies have good prices, but then you number gets sold too- Caller: US Pharmacy

- Hoh HummCompanies who disguise their real numbers with fake Caller IDs has become absolutely epidemic. And this is another example, and representative of the worst offenders -- pharmaceutical dealers in India, routed through Canadian-based web sites, mainly selling erectile dysfunction medications. Once they get your phone number, they will NOT stop calling. I actually had to change my phone number because it got so bad with calls every few minutes and at all hours of the day and night. These people are foul parasites.
- Call type: Telemarketer
- Hoh Humm replies to FreedomkeeprI've tried that. The guy just laughed and said "F@#%-YOU" and hung up. Then called again 10 minutes later.
