This is an air conditioning company offering to clean ducts.  Press 2 to be removed.

I received 2 unwanted calls from this number within 1 minute. No one was there when I answered the phone. I get so many unwanted calls and wonder what good the do not call list is good gir. I'm tired of all these calls.

How do I know it's safe to press 2?  I have hung up in the middle of their sales pitch and let it go to voice mail.  They keep calling; two or 3 times a day.  I am on the do not call list for all the good it does.

Wanted my credit card to guarantee that a tech would come out.

I didn't answer. Checked message on answer machine. Only got the tail end of the message. Called the number back using an alternative method. Call wouldn't go through even if I added a 1 as a prefix before the area code. If they are masking their calls as out of area though it is a local number and you can't reach them on a callback, something smells rotten.

This is a telemarketer or scammer. Message left on answering machine said press 1 if we wanted to know more about dryer vent cleaning.

I have pressed 2 and it has not been removed.  We have caller ID but I have to pick up due to health issues.  I really would like to know what to do to get them to stop permanently.  

Several calls in the past two months from this number. It's a recording to sell A/C services. I hung up and called the number back. It's a non-working number, so beware. DO NOT GIVE THEM CREDIT CARD INFO.  Furthermore, dialing '2' to be removed from their list will not remove you.  If you have call block or a Panasonic phone with call block capabilities, use them.  On a Panasonic, press MENU, then #, then 217, and you will be able to add them to your call block list. Hopefully, your Panasonic has this capability.

Left message regarding free dryer vents.  They call at least two times a day

I am now getting calls from 281-484-8777 several times a day.  Says press 2 to be removed from their list.  I press 2 and it's dead air. (I should not have to press any button at all.  They should not have called since i am on State and Federal Do Not Call List.....Big RED flag). I try to call back and the number has been disconnected.  Recording does not disclose the name of the business and is blocked on caller ID.  Wanting to clean air ducts. Big RED flags.  This is a SCAM.  Reporting this number to Attorney General, FCC and FTC.
