Universal Fidelity calling with a debt collection action.  This is a recorded message with no live person to talk to. They call at least once a week sometimes more. My phone number is registered on the Federal DO Not Call List.  These harrassing phone calls are illegal. I have no business with Universal Fidelity.

This company is called Universal Fidelity from Houston Tx.  They called me for the first time today and it was silence.  So i called back the # on my caller ID.  and some INDIAN woman said you owe money to Hamilton something.  I said, umm i don't know what Hamilton is and i'm sure i don't owe any money to them.  She said yes you do owe money, and it's your credit that you're ruining.  Your loss.  I told her wait a minute, how dare you tell me what i'm ruining if i don't know who you are and i'm sure you have the wrong person. So i said, please put on a manager b/c i don't like your attitude.  She said ok and hung up.  

So i called again, and some INDIAN guy picked up and as soon as he said hi, i said i want to speak to a supervisor or manager.  He said there isn't a supervisor available today.  I said that's a lie b/c it's a call center, how can there not be a supervisor.  Then i went on to say that i am going to the Better Business Bureau aka BBB.Org to file a complaint against this company for having the wrong person, and not accepting it.  Then hanging up on me, then lying to me that there isn't a supervisor in your call center.  Then he said, no don't do that i already removed your phone #.  I said thank you but i'm still reporting this company.  Then he hung up on.

Call stating wait for a agent.  No one ever picked up.  Indian person said it was a debt, then asked what I could pay, stated $5.  Then proceeded to inform me that I could only pay $50.  I said no, then harassment started.  Repeated phone calls.

This is a collection agency.

This number keeps calling me. When I answer they refused to give me any information when I ask who is this. They call at least 6 times a week when I don't answer. I do not owe any money so not sure why they are calling!

This person continues to call my place of employment after being told we do not take personal calls. He asked for my contact information. Well if I owed anyone money they would already have my contact information. We have even told them that I have been laid off and no longer here but they continue to call and harrass. I found out the number is somewhere in Texas?? I told them if they continue to call I will report them to the local authorities. Someone else here had this happen to them about 2 years ago and after she told them that they stopped calling. He kept saying its not personal its a very important legal matter. I don't think so. I am on the DO NOT CALL list too.

These people are complete [***] and do not care if complaints are being made against them at all.

All of a sudden started receiving 5-6 calls a day on a work phone. I never answer, but I did call back and got a recording asking me to wait for the next representative, so I figured it was a sales pitch and hung up. But they kept calling, so I got on the federal do not call list and the next time they called I answered and told THEM to put me on their do not call list as well. It's an unlisted number, they never identify themselves, and they never leave a voicemail, so they are not worth talking to or answering. Who do you complain to about these people?

Does anyone have an address so I can write a cease & desist letter?  They call 5+x a day!

Why are they calling? I don't owe anyone anything.. Very rude as well

This Place keeps calling me 10 or 15 times a day when i answer it they ask me for someone i don't even know and i told them not to call back but it don't do any good so i went to the internet and got a called id blocker box to block the [***] and it works great

I keep getting calls from these people, when I tell them I'm not Rena who
ever they hang up.Then later (same day) they call back. They have been calling far about 2 wks.I called them back 12/23/2009,I spoke to a man who says that Rena had given them this contact number, he said he would remove me from their list. I certainly hope so . My phone is a net 10 phone that I have had since July and I don't want to pay far talking to people I don't know.

Demanded to speak to "R", asked "R" who. Full name given told them he died 4 months ago. Called me a lier, said spoke to "R" on the 4th.  Funny, I'm the only one who answers the phone and spoke with noone on the 4th. Refused to identify himself or the company he worked for. Asked for a supervisor, was told there were no supervisors. Told him to take this number off his calling list and was told "not going to happen" "will call back later". Have no idea who or what is going on. Not cool to call you a lier when someone has died. Especially if it's a family member! How do we
get these people to stop? Have them call the attorney who is in charge of probate? Not picking up again.
