calling from a local number they are collectors..calling family members of mine that i would have never given their number out to. this is against the law..

called my mother looking for my brother in law. " regarding a legal matter" is what p v capital stated. brother-in-law wouldn't have put my parents down as contacts.

Called home phone looking for relative.  Told not to call this number again since relative does not live there.  Then they called my mobile number and that really upset me since that number is never given out.  I told them again never to call those numbers again.

He says his name is Taylor Culverson with PV Captial or something along those lines and that this is a legal matter.  He would not give me an address when I spoke to him and hung up on me instead.  He has been calling my WORK phone non-stop.  In fact he called today five times in a row.  I have told him several times this is harassment and I am more than sure that is why he refuses to give me the address of the company.  By the way, good luck trying to find the company anywhere online.  The only thing I know is that it is in Houston, Texas everything else is well hidden.

got the same kind of call and luckily i answered keeping it from being transferred to the president.  this is highly illegal.  keep a record of all calls and record if possible.  there should be a class action suit brought against these people.

Pretty much the same as everyone else...these people are violating EVERY single aspect of the FDCPA...PLEASE report them to the FTC so that they get investigated...if we don't fight back, they will continue these unlawful practices...it is a VERY EASY FORM at the FTC website and only takes a few minutes...PLEASE take the time and DO THIS!!

Called my house, looking for me. Knew my name and address. However when they asked for my phone number, supposedly it wasn't in their system. When I asked to be completely removed they hung up.

wish I hadn't given Nicole Anthony my own name and title - because now I'm fairly certain Nicole wasn't hers.  Very rude and confrontational from the beginning, interrupting me to tell me it was the law that I had to connect her with HR and that I was avoiding giving her public information.

If people would pay their bills they wouldn't  have to complain about getting calls!

Called a neighbor across the street trying to find an elderly 86 yr old lady, then calling her every 5 minutes, when she told them to stop calling, they stil call

called my work re alleged debt owed by my son.  Courteous young man referred to 'legal matter' and 'lawsuit'. Told me he had my son 'traced'.

learn the FDCPA guidelines for your state.  certain states require something called a "mini-miranda" is recited.  This should go something like "This is an attempt to collect a debt, any information obtained will be used for that purpose."  I work for a collection agency and this is REQUIRED in states such as TX, CT, NY, and several others.  I have gotten a call from this company and just reported them to the FTC prior to writing this.  I also got another call from 713-582-1812.  I believe this to be the rep's personal cell phone number.  have fun if you'd like to call it!

Called saying we were getting sued cause we owed CHASE credit card money. We don't even have a credit card!!!!

A man identifying himself as "Mr. West" called my home number and asked for me by name, stating they were looking for a "relative" of mine (the name he gave was "Jennifer Hickman") who had given my number and name as a contact in the past, and stated that he had located "assets" in her name and was calling to notify her.  The name of the "relative" was someone I had never heard of before in my life - I'm not related to anyone named Jennifer OR Hickman.  Then the caller then stated that this person supposedly lived at our address before - but we've been here over 10 years.  He kept asking me, "So you're NOT related to Jennifer Hickman and you don't know where she is???" over and over again.  Really loud, yelling into the phone.  Not very polite.  I'd love to know how he got my name, address and phone number and who the hell this Jennifer person is.

877-684-8352 called my brother's home asking for my sister and her husband - identified himself as C.E Schneider with P.V. Capital.  We have no idea who they are!

These people are a SCAM... don't give them any of your info or your money!!!

All you have to do is tell them they have been reported and they will stop calling you.  It is a scam.  Don't give them any info or money.
