Calling on behalf of Vietnam Veterans.  Wants donations.

Caller asked for my husbands by name but once I asked who is calling he said I just got a call on behalf of Vietnam Veterans for donations...but why call me at 8:45pm...this does not sound right.

Vietnam Veterans of America or state Chapters  do not Solicit donations via telephone.  It is a hoax,

Called at 9:52 this morning.  Probably a Robodialer.  When my machine picked it up, they hung up.  Caller I.D. said "Houston".

Called at 847PM.  Ask to speak with my husband.  (He has been dead for over a year.)  I advised the called of this and he replied, "Oh, I'm so sorry, I didn't know that."  I hung up.  How do these organizations get our telephone numbers?

Called on 3/8/13 at 8:30pm....caller ID said Vietnam Vet.  I looked up local chapters....none have this number.  They do no solicit this way.  SCAM!

Wants money.never give to anyone asking for money over the phone.99.999 % chance it is a scam.ask them to send you info through the mail.most times you won't get it because most are con men.don't think they are who they are just because they say they are.if they are arrogant or avoid answering questions hang up.don't be afraid to ask questions.be afraid of those who do not have answers.remember: if you feel uncomfortable,hang up!

This is a scammer wanting money. Actually they want account information. I asked them if they could help my brother. He came back from Nam with a piece of shrapnel in his head, both legs amputated, cancer from the Agent Orange, half of his face blown of and most of his teeth knocked out from the land mine he stepped on. They hung up.

Called twice today. Caller ID says Vietnam  veterans

They call at least once a day.  My answering machine has a message:  If you don't leave a message, don't call back...  they don't leave a message and they keep calling back.  Why don't they listen?  Any idea how to stop these unwanted calls?

Many calls came in and we did not answer them but today I figured I would tell them we don't donate over the phone but they asked for me by name and when I said this is she THEY hung up.............What's up with that?  Of course I didn't have on my friendliest voice but ....................

They are using a robo-dialer so, they never hear your message.

This caller asking 4 donation. Event of asked him not to call.

Called. Left no message. I am a veteran. Genuine vet organizations do not call for donations. Most do it by mail or through membership. Would not donate to anyone who calls to get you to give your information over the phone. I am also on DNC list. Given the number of calls I receive and the number of times I report those who call over and over again, I would say they do nothing to eliminate the problem.

Got a call similar to a above.  Rang 3 times.  ID says Vietnam veterans.  Ignored and blocked.

Got two calls today from whoever this is.  ID says Vietnam Veterans.  Who gives their credit card # to strangers on the phone wanting money?  Sounds like another idiot scam.  Blocked and forgotten.

Please have theme stop calling.

It's a nuisance.

Called 6 times yesterday.....last call 9 pm.   Called 8 am this morning.....this has to be a scam.
