I have gotten several calls from this number and no one answers when I pick-up

We've gotten a few of these calls every morning between 7:30 and 9.  Our caller ID says it's FNMA Alliance.  Aside from the annoyance, our number is a business number that is used most of the day for conference calls from as early as 7:30 until as late as 7 or 8 p.m.  It's ridiculous to excuse yourself to pick up a call when no one's there.  If we don't answer the phone, they don't leave a message.  We're really glad you told us it's a collector for Chase.  Now, at least, we know who they are.  We'll treat them.......accordingly.........lol.

We received the same calls every day for the past two months, but usually when we're not home. They never leave a message and often do not say anything when we did answer. Last night we actually had a person on the line after another phone call. They keep asking for someone whom we've never heard of. My husband threatened to charge them with harassment if they call one more time. The person was very rude in response and hung up. We'll see if they call again. Am glad to know who they are, so I can contact them if we receive any more phone calls from that number.

They called almost every day, either evening or morning.
I just called them to tell them to take my name out of their calling list, they tried to ask my birthday which I didn't give, and they said they are going to call me every single day until they can verify my information. How can we stop them ?

Have been receiving these calls over and over again. They never leave a message. My husband finally picked up and then told them that the person they were looking for doesn't live here, and that they shouldn't call back. That was on 05/23/09, and they haven't called back since then, thank goodness. Prior to that they called several times a day, nearly every single day.

Left message. "This ia a message for the adult consumer of the household. If you are not the adult consumer do not continue to listen. If you continue to listen you are identifying yourself as the adult consumer of the household. Please call 1-800-856-0420. This is an attempt to collect a debt. Any information in this conversation will be used to collect this debt."

Identified themselves twice in the message. Both times it sounded like "FM Airlines" but now I see it was FM Alliance with lazy speech. Never heard of them and I have no debts.

I just got to work and have three messages from them left last night - 7:46pm, 8:43pm, and another RIGHT after at 8:43pm.  All messages say the same thing.

The woman (recording) speaks so fast that you can't make out the name of the company, tho I see now that it must be FM Alliance.

Nice.  It will be a pleasure to report this company if they continue as they are.

what the hell. This is just asinine. I called the 1800 they gave to tell them I'm not who they think I am, and all I got was an answering machine, not FIVE MINUTES after I received the call.
They've also called at 8AM, and I missed the phone last time.
How do I actually contact these [***] so they'll stop calling?

I called them back and gave them the number they called and asked me for my name. So I then said look up the number you called and tell me who you are looking for. She refused. She wanted my name, so I asked for the company info and she gave me everything but the city and state. I asked for it again and she refused until I gave her my name. These people are rude and aggravating.

I went to this web-site http://www.donotcall.gov and registered my number, they did stop calling.

I have been on the gov't do not call list for several months now... It has NOT stopped this person/company from calling!!!  Messages have been left at times... as stated above... If I am an adult consumer stay online... if not hang up.  It also sounded to me like S & L Airlines...  The message when left was obviously a recording, exactly the same each time.  Lately no messages have been left, and calls have come in three and more times a day.

Very.. VERY ANNOYING.

How can it be stopped?  <visual:  chopping off fingers and thumbs!>

The call was looking for someone and wanted to speak to the wife and wanted loan information about nothing because he kept reading the Miranda and the collections act. Then I told him that I had no clue and that whoever they were looking for they were to continue looking because this number was not it. man got ignorant and told me I had to "shut up"  and listen to him.

Caller did not identify and as for copy power of Attorney for my mother who is deceased. Would not give any information.
