they call and say they have warrant for my arrest and there coming today to serve me. Is this a bill collector

Called and said the same, wouldn't give name.

It's one of those payday loan collection agencies. I took a pay day loan nearly 5 years ago, (dumb move) paid it off (thank god) and I still get calls from companies telling me they are ready to serve me with papers, but I can "still sort it out if I call"... some number and talk payment. Don't fall for it. Tell them you're Jake from State Farm

Getting a call from 281-758-8305.  They are adking for my husband's long ago ex wife!  I've told these people MANY times that she does NOT live here.  (They think my husband is her brother!  Had same last name for a time.)  I keep telling them that this person does not live here.  All a person has to do is type her name on Google and it will show her address and phone number. If you type in my phone number (cause they only keep calling me) on Google, it shows our name and number and address.  Clearly not the same house.  I tried to call them back and tell them that.....only get busy signal forever.
I wish I knew how to get bill collectors to stop calling us.  We have never owed anyone money but, have gotten many calls from collectors for other people. (Son also has an issue with collectors)
I don't know how to get it thru to them.  Idiots!  That's all I can chalk it up to....only idiots work there.
