For-profit company calling "on behalf of Fraternal Order of police". They gave the callback number of 877-338-4960.

No one on line when I picked up.  Given the caller ID (Katy TX -- the name of a nearby town) it's probably one of the three standard scams that I get multiple times per week (fake car warranty, home security scam, credit card phishing scam).  Don't answer! .... and please do not give these people money.

Receiving unwanted calls from this number. No message left.

Got a call from this number. It rang twice and then hung up.  They left no message.  I did not try and call back.

Just received a call from number.  Did a quick search on Google and found this link.  They are looking for donations.  Organization can not be confirm - possible scam.  It's Christmas time ..... lots of folks looking for money using all types of bogus organizations.  Just hang up and enjoy your evening.

Just received call at 9 pm at night.  No answer on the other end.  Only reason why I answered is because we have friends in that area and wasn't sure if it was them.  Pissed me off that they called so late.

Recorded message when I answered... Fraternal Order of Something-or-other shaking you down for money.  Continues to call despite my asking to be removed from their list --> not legit

Nothing says "legit" like a phone call where the other side of the line is a soundboard with precanned greetings and reactions.
What used to once be the exclusive province of prank calls is now used by shady "fund raisers."

The real Fraternal Order of Police do not call and solicit money

Goy the same call I call back and it's a machine pick up and continue to say hello. They called me and did not say anything.

Repeated calls from this number every few days.  I never answer and there is never  a message.

Just got a call from this number as I have several times before..... annoying....
