Claims to be from Jaycees looking for donations for children with cancer.....very persistant.

If you ask the caller what percentage of the funds raised actually go to the cause, they will either tell you or hang up.  The legal minimum is 15%.  Whatever percentage they say, repeat it back in disbelief and they will hang up on you.  The usual answer is the legal minimum of 15%, with 85% going to pay fundraising expenses. Good organizations do almost exactly the opposite.

Caller hung up~no reply on dial back

We got a call from this number just after noon today. The caller ID said TIM MUSSEY. We didn't answer.

Just got a call from this number.  Called ID read "Tim Mussey".  Didn't answer, left no message.

Just got a call from them on the home phone (yes, on do not call list).  The left no message.  I'm blocking them.

Caller ID came up Tim Mussey. Left no message.

This caller was persistenet and rude and would not talk to anyone but me

Have received numerous calls from this person and phone number. Never answers a call back. Quit calling me.

I find some of the remarks posted about these ‘faux telemarketer calls’ amusing.  I put together a software program that has logged over 380 of these annoyance calls since 2012.  Those of you that let the calls roll to your answering machine, voicemail or worse yet answered the call you have just ensured you will get another of these calls.  Maybe not from the same number, but they’ve just identified your number as valid and passed it on.  Most of the initial calls originate from software (aka; ‘robocalls’) – once your number is identified as active, then a person may be there on the follow up calls.  If you have the capability to ‘block’ the number that called – that is the best action.  If you don’t have a blocking option, keep a phone with caller ID close by and simply hit ‘talk’ and ‘off’ simultaneously.  If you really want to block them – there is reasonably priced software that a layman can install.  Of the 380 calls I’ve blocked, only 16 have been in the last 6 months.  So the message is simple – blocking works….

I rec'd a call on my home phone that said "private caller". Didn't answer it and they hung up but a few seconds later, the phone rang again and it was this Tim Mussey. Didn't answer it either

I've gotten the Tim Mussey call 10 or 12 times a week, not being home it was going to voice, no messages.  Eventually I have done away with voice mail on my land line.

Repeated phone calls from this number either not saying anything and hanging up or wanting a donation

Called tonight with caller ID of Tim Mussey.  No one on the line.  Googled and found the number is also associated with "Houston, TX Junior Chamber of Commerce"  http://www.houstonjaycees.org/donatenow

Caller ID says Tim Mussey.  A quick search on the internet shows that the number it is associated with Texas Jaycees as well as the Houston Jaycees.  I also found this on http://jobsupportministry.publishpath.com/job-listings

I own a phone room and just expanded our operation.
I am needing to hire 25 people to work during the day, normal business hours and another 25 to work part time in the evenings and weekends.

A search of the name Kevin Blouin showed that he is the Vice President on the Board of Directors of Texas Jaycees and also the VP of Houston Jaycees.  Search Kevin Bloiun on LinkedIn and you will find he is the CRM Manager at Interactive Advertising Bureau (Marketing and Fundraising sepcializations within the non-profit industry)..  

As for the name Tim Mussey, there have been reports from other annoyed phone owners that it is sometimes listed as Bob, or Ricky or Bernard.  Perhaps it is just a name spoofed by Kevin Bloiun and his hirees.

I keep receiving calls from Tim Mussey from Houston.  I am on the do not call list and this fool keeps calling.  I want it to stop.
He tries 3-4 times a day and we never answer.
