Who this number is for?

I recieved this call from the "benefits connection" with is affiliated as a third party through my work.  Not sure what they handle, but in my case it is legit.  They are handling my beneficiary benefits that I had called them on.  I am sure they handle this stuff for many other companies as well.

This is Hewitt Associates

This is the payroll administrator and benefits coordinator for PepsiCo companies. They are legit company. 866-473-6763 is for Quaker Oats

For me this was a legit call...new benefits administrator for QWEST Communications

Hewitt Associates is a global human resources (HR) outsourcing and consulting firm delivering a complete range of integrated services to help companies manage their total HR and employee costs, enhance HR services, and improve their workforces.

Hewitt was founded in 1940 and ceased to exist as an independent entity at the completion of its purchase by the Aon Corporation in October 2010. Hewitt's operations were merged at that time with some elements of Aon's consulting arm to become a new subsidiary of the Aon Group called Aon Hewitt.

They handle HR retirement benefits for Prudential Insurance out of Newark, NJ, as well as for many major corporations.  They are a legit company.  Their home office is in Lincolnshire, IL.  But this number traces back to the Houston, TX area, so they must have an office there too.

Caller identified herself as being with Human Resources, Conoco Phillips.  Have recently been working with the Phillips' group locally.  You can bet come Monday I'll be checking with the local phone at Phillips to verify.

This number is the generic number for Hewitt Associates, now Aon Hewitt. They administer Pension, 401(k) and Health benefits for many, many corporations. The call type below does not apply.

Some folks say this is a legitimate company.  The call I received was most defiantly not legitimate.  It was dialed to a DID I own that has never been used for any public or business purpose.  So, it would be impossible for the caller to have any kind of business with the other end; as no one is associated with it.

I just received a call today from this number and it is legit for me.  The call was HR related and left a different phone number for me to call back.

Legit number for Hewitt Associates processing office in Texas.  Handles many large corporation benefits, including retirement and medical.

This is a spam company telemarketing call.  They call as are Hewett Associates, but I have never used them, never ask for them to call me, have never done business with them and they are cold calling people. SPAM!

No reply until you speak, then a recorded message saying congratulations, you have won a free medical alert system, or words to that effect.

It seems like a legitimate company is having it's legit number spoofed by a telespammer?

This is a followup from the Benefits Administration for Prudential retirement.

I appreciate ability to research a number.... Especially when my phone ony rang twice... And no message was left in my voice mail.  I recognize my employer uses this vendor to administer their benefits for active & Retirees. BUT ... When The 3rd party does a crappier job than the employer EVER did.... I wonder what the exact intentions of this 3rd party are being paid for??? Centurylink... Former Qwest.... Going back as US West... Chose Hewitt. And at ne time.... Things finally improved ( only after extreme intervention thru CWA Union efforts)... But is back to VERY VERY awful again.

Did not pick up call in time, but caller left no voice message.

Legit number and company. I'm retired AT&T. They have representatives that help you navigate through the myriad insurance companies/options and assist you in deciding what options are available and suits your needs and payment range.

This was a return call from my employer's benefit company.     My cell phone caller ID only showed the phone number and Texas.    The benefit company is located in Michigan and uses an 888 number, so I did not recognize it.     Call was legit.
